Hi hightower very nice lamp and video there davidcolter is spot on you need to protect the primming flame from any draught as liquid fuel was comming out the jet and not vapourised fuel causing it to flare the aluminium windshield is perfect i use one when lighting out doors and it works perfect

Very nice. Its well worth using one of those folding aluminium camp stove windshields when you preheat.
