If 0.1% of America were to violently resist, the government would collapse. If 300,000 people marched on the capitol, the US army is overseas, so there would be nothing to stop them, maybe a mere 10,000 troops, and the army won't easily fire on US citizens.

I won't argue that YAL supports cutting taxes, but if Koch truly supports "invading countries for their oil", it is odd that they would support this event as well, when the founder-in-spirit of the YAL (Ron Paul) is one of the fiercest critics of such policy.

I don't think YAL would be against having a tea party like the one you mention. They are focusing on this issue because it is more current.
