Americans call this type of film "chick flick", i.ea . film for girls. No violence, no car chases, no guns, no special effects... just subtle feelings and relationships, portrayed with much sensitivity, with a beautiful photography and lovely music. (I'm glad I can appreciate it too....) If you like this type of music, check out the other works by Nyman and also Philip Glass.

great film...you forgot that it has REAl sexual tension, love, gelosy, rage, innocence..etc. "chick flick" is a term for sexxualy insecure men.

@musicdivinemusic I'm an American and this movie seems interesting, I care more about plot instead. It seems I'm the only one that says the Matrix was an idiotic movie. It's surprising how many movies now days aren't very good, most of them are comedies with moronic characters such as Will Ferral.
