I started to merch with 29M in Spring 2009, came out with 6,8 B just before Bot removal and Rare-Nuke : /

1 Year before at Free-Trade release, I got also owned by Jagex and the Rares crash and was down to less than 1,5 B ;P

Now I'm getting back, nearly 5 B again now. Also pure F2P ; )

Hi,can i ask u a question?How did u get all of those rares when ur skills are not so high to get all of i?Did u play RS since beginning and get some rares back then (when they had almost no value) and then sold em when they raised on price ,and then waited till they drop again and bought more,and sold em ? Or someone gave u some rares ? To start merch with ? Just wondering,becouse u couldnt get so abnormal amounts,by normal way,repair me if i am wrong.

@WaleedShazzy Well actually both sides on the trade were 14-15Billion in street value (at that time people balanced with junk, when trade-limit was still there), and if you calculate right now ... half wine like 2b roughly? + my 970M on the video... balanced to a white and blue partyhat worth both like roughly 6.5bil? well I think the math is easly done...

@jullab1234 Try flip God armours in sets, but basically lots of items are great to flip, but I never really got into the "regular item flipping" stuff, since I only flipped Rares :S

I skilled my way up to 9m cash (wc'ing, smelting steel, crafting power amulets, ...) Then I bought my first santa hat for 9m cash in 2006.

At this point I started merching Rares and I didn't stop. :)

Well in your case, if you can't afford any Rare yet, I would advise to start flipping God Armours.

Buy them in sets, you can only buy 2 each 4 hours. Do this for guthix/zamorak/saradomin or others of course.

Buy sets low and sell higher, just try it out and always watch the graphics of the Grand Exchange ;)

Merchanting is taking risks, Taking risks makes you money. But if you don't have enough cash at this moment to rebuy it, incase you lose out on a mask while selling. I wouldn't try to merchant it.

As of yesterday Masks rose like 20m (speaking of red mask), but this morning they dropped within min. 20m again. This can also happen the other way around, so be very carefull!
