I first heard this late in 2009. Greatly inspired, I made my New Year's resolution for 2010 that I would start my life again, this time using using this tune as the soundtrack (so that I would come to embody it's spirit). I didn't do it, but it still seems like a noble goal. Maybe in 2011...
not knowing this piece, i heard it briefly a few times on classical radio and the quiet whole tone passage for harp (around 8:18 ) always caught my ear, i sought it out and grew to adore every phrase

We're playing this with my orchestra! We're nowhere near this but I love it so much. My favorite part is at 7:15 , it's beautiful.

It's no question where Koji Kondo got his inspiration for the harp pieces for Ocarina of Time! It's nearly identical in some places.
