I remember seeing this skit when I was young and I found it funny when Guy Smiley would go crazy on saying "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" and when he would tell the contestants to wait for the sound of the bell, haha.
Though I was considered too old to watch Sesame Street when it came on the air in 1969, I loved watching every show! This definitely brought back wonderful childhoold memories. Thank you bring back Guy Smiley ...the ultimate game show host!
Hey, my Child Psychology professor told me along with his other students to watch Sesame Street because even though it is a show for children, adults can watch it too for humor.
No. What Is It is that game show from the late 70's that had Grover, Biff, and Prairie Dawn and a little boy that brought in a red, rubber ball, and who won a cow at the end.
Chester looks a bit like Herb Ludwig.

Growing up, Guy Smilley always reminded me of my dad because he had a sharp head.

This comment is for Rickenbacker 350V63. You are never to old to watch Sesame Street, you can be any age at all to watch Sesame Street.

I'm consistently amazed by the "human" Muppets' tolerance of monsters. They all seem pretty alright with the whole monster coexistence.

I wonder if red green got the idea from this sketch in a popular segment called The Possom Lodge Word Game.

This is really one of my favorite game shows. Does anyone have The Addition Game, What Is It, and The Trading Game?

"What Is It?" My question exactly.
