this was the most fun theme i have ever been apart of. being a "music head," i feel we should have gotten first oprize arrangement. it was fun, the crowd loved it, and overall it was an excellent arrangement. aside from the overblowing, this was flawless.
times are changing and so are string bands..backpieces are the old times...I like these times better..much more fun and u can do alot more creative things
This was a great theme and Quaker should have won. This was the only year that QC got screwed. Take a look at the red house around 1:45 there was a dancer that tripped and fell it was quite funny but take a look.

that's my daddy in there they really should of came in 1st seriously fralinger stunk n i always think fralinger is better but this year quaker city should of won!!
I am in fralinger and honestly I liked this show. The top 2 bands have been the top 2 bands not only the last 7 years but the last 10 out of 11 years. And why do u think they have been top 2 for all those years? These 2 bands are the BEST. Actually the BEST EVER! Its all based on what the judges like that day and usually the BEST BAND wins. It all comes down to music thats what separates the men from the boys. These 2 bands are in a league of thier own. Nobody is even close.
I dont know much of anything about the mummers parade, but do the 2 bands hate eachother as much as the people who like fralinger and quaker seem to hate each other on here?

i visited Phylly for new year once and its a great show on January 1. but I think Quaker City should have won this year, their music was superior.
