I know this is a gay pride song. But, me and my girlfriend lots of people don't believe we are who we are, or they want to ignore it. So, we made it our song. Because we love each other. I can't stand it when people are so ignorant about the LGBT lifestyle. I'm bi, but plan to stay with my love the rest of my life. So, my sexuality is a bit moot anyway. We LOVE, where's the harm in that? I love a woman, don't care what you think, but the hurtful words are getting old people.
i know this song was written for a different reason but when i first heard it i translated the meaning to my situation with my gf ,well ex gf haha and it really helped hahah all of their music helped me haha very talented and beautiful ladies ;}
you lost me somehow ? i dont know why but this song really feels like a break up song, dont hate the gays embrace the gays ! sometimes religion can cause us to look down on the gays but i dont think god would of wanted so much hate to be spread or any hate for that matter lol we are all brothers and sisters
