  • Script hiding fail LOL!

  • 1:20 it looks like the edge is screaming in pain

  • I took mine apart for this a 2-4 months ago, and i haven't seen the pieces yet. I should look for them. I got a dremel today

  • Haha 2:59

  • you need to buy a platypus puzzle :D

  • he always posts his videos on the day before christmas

  • 1:18 I laughed so hard LOL

  • ok so like i wasz saying by putting sand or dirt in your cube wouldent it get in the joints of the core slowing it down considerably.if you really want to reduce friction just use some lubix.i know it can be a little exspensive but its sooooo worth it.and it pretty much takes away all of your friction.now about the sanding great idea!my only 2 questions about it.1- does it reduce the pops or catching of the cubies?2 about how long does it take? because i am a perfectionist so it will take awhile

  • first off i love your vids there very informative. that being said please try and notbe so sqweaky in the future. lol ok now that, that is off my chest, i just want to ask isent putting sand in a cube kinda counter intutive. i mean really think about it. i would never put sand in my 3x3s just like i would never put vasilen in a cube. i tryed putting vasilen in my first cube and worked pretty good for about a week, a week and a half then it just got super super slow. continued..

  • @iseldoff putting sand is a good thing for rubiks brands watch Thrawsts video on that its called tip of the week 7 i did it and i liked that project it was fun

  • is there a mod that does the same thing but on a 4x4x4

  • pause at 1:23 ahhhhhhh its that hairy guy from ripleys

  • fucking great name dude XD

  • The middle layer doesn't move on a 2x2. Rubik's is a great company.

  • @certifiedwhiteninja You are right!

  • go me!

  • Wow your hands make it look like you were digging in dogshit. Were you digging in dogshit?

  • 1:55 you're hands are so clean!

  • 0:25 like a strange gear cube...

  • @ct5010 Have you seen a gear cube? They look nothing similar.

  • @TheMyles1224 i meant that a layer turns itself when he turned the outer layer...

  • Creepy beginning :P

  • I'm totally not into rubix cube's and what not but. i respect your love for these complex puzzle's respect man. keep it up you could make money with this stuff.

  • Jees, reverse micheal jackson hands!

  • my god! you re a master oon that thing!

  • You know how solving a megaminx is practically solving a big 3x3x3? What's solving a gigaminx like difficulty-wise?

  • @gelluper 5x5x5

  • Just think, in all of the time you've spent on those, you could (supposing you were someone else) have lived out a few relationships.

    Give it a thought. ;)

  • Is this before or after you putt dirt in it ?

  • i put dirt in my v-cube 5 and the quality reduced quite a bit. its a bit smoother, but dont do it, it adds ALOT of resistance, although the outer layer no longer catches on the inner layer, but i regret doing it

  • whee the hell are you getting the money for these puzzles?

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial. I was rather disappointed when my gigaminx arrived and it would barely turn. Now it turns amazingly.

    Happy cubing!

  • Sand/dirt does affects the exact same surfaces

  • I've only tried two gigaminx solves and it was so bad my best time was a little over an hour. DX

  • how many 5x5s can you do this modification on?

  • So, yeah... less please.

  • Hi, i have a question: what type of screws/springs/washers (if you use it) do you put in your modified gigaminx.

    Thank you, nice vid.

  • ur hands are so dirty

  • @jennypennyextreme

That's because of the plastic being sanded. -.-'

  • @jennypennyextreme dude its the sanded plastic pieces no big deal

  • fat kid :D

  • 1:41 look at your fingers LOL

  • ehh... thats very bad methode to make it better... just buy longer screws... its a lot of less work and even better ;D believe me btw its okay sanding it. i preffer new screws ^^

  • The longer screw idea sounds good too but exactly where do i get these longer screws? Does Home Depot sell them. Arent they unique? And what size are they?

  • is it safe on a rubiks 5x5x5??

  • modification god

  • Hm.. Sounds like a repeat of that V-6 mod! You should sell a few Gigaminxes modified!

  • 1:18 : D

  • Hey! nice video i will deffinitly use this =) my gigaminx is... **** lol im not kiding beyond terrible... ha hopefully this helps XD!!!

  • turned it into a v2 of sorts, also its been compaired to a 1.5

  • 3:57, rudest comment I've heard toward the creator of the Gigaminx, seriously he is the first one to mass produce one of these. . .everything isn't perfect. Just like the V-cube 6 which was though to be a great deal due to being over 5 layers, it takes time to get better.

  • You call that rude? Hohoho..

  • What do you consider rude? To call up the creator of the Gigaminx shout at him, go down to his house kill his children and wife then say his first gigaminx is crap. . .all this. . .over plastic.

  • Dude, chill out.

Pi is right, there are many ways it could have been made better.

If I were to mass produce a puzzle, I'd wait until it was amazing (V7 and V5 for example) before releasing it.

  • no thats not possible to come out with something perfect this first time around. Nothing comes out perfect first time computers cars cell phones SEWING!

  • it takes time and practice

  • @monkeydude1313 V5 has still clicks

  • Are you picking a flame war with me? You will be pwned.

  • Lol, just about the dumbest thing i have heard, why would i fight with a eight year old across the internet? Good bye now.

  • You lost, my friend. I am 15.

    GAME OVER.

Haha, just kidding. I don't want to start a fight, but you gotta' change that attitude if you want to avoid trolls flamin' ya'.

  • xescapefatex:

dude, please use your brain when you're commenting to a video.

they can made it better and you don't need to kill his family to contact them.

  • 1. Grammar.

    2. You're right, no death needed.

    3. I don't have a third.

    4. I'm done.

  • i didn't care at all of the grammar.

  • i respect your vids, and i live in germany, i wait for my v-cubes and the shop i was buying them just went in to vacation -.-

  • lol i dont even have one v-cube its just funny to watch this lol

  • eww

  • pi have you tried that gigaminx mod where you like, cut half the spring off and whatever?

  • with all this sanding, it seems kind of pointless because it's already smooth and you're just taking away more of the plastic.

  • @georgewig I think that is the point. You want to take away the plastic.

  • omG YOUR THUMB HAS FROSTBITE o wait thats plastic shavings......umm...... lol

  • you're the man pi

  • srry and the v 5

  • yur like the master of speedcubing mods! first the v 6 and now the gigaminx

  • glad it worked out for you.

  • Awesome, The mod is kind of like Thrawst's Video about fixing the 3x3

  • What camera do you use?

  • cool

  • thx for the links lol

  • wow

  • didn't you kinda use thrawsts way to mod a cube 3x3 rubik's cube? with the dirt? i think you should give him some credit too ^^

  • it's not "thrawst's way" putting sand in a cube has been around for awhile.

  • @asleep05753 oh..

in his vid he said he found out to do that by dropping his cube in the sand, so i thought he came up with it :P.. Said nothing ;P

  • awesome!!!!! u are great at modding puzzles!

  • what the hell, just loaded up, already 3 comments

  • WOW. Sweet!
