haha lol I live in a hike town where it seems like people are behind a decade or so. Where I live Skinny jeans did not become trends or popular until freaking 2009-2010! Lord it's soo behind time here. lol :)

man the whole boho style was basically Kate Moss and Sienna Miller copying the look of the late 60s and early 70s. Then everyone all these little shallow wannabes like MIscha Barton and Nicole Ritchie and LIndsay Lohan wanted to be like Kate Moss so they copied her.

Skinny Jeans didnt become popular till like 2008 when all of a sudden Kids and teenagers my age at the time who wear old Hip Hop fashion started wearing skinny jeans. between 05-07 or early 08 only emos wore skinny jeans.

Totally. Early 2000 fashion was so ugly. Flared out and baggy jeans, sneakers and tops with prints. 2005 you had the fluro clothing coming in, flares long since gone. At the same time, emo/hipsters started wearing skinny jeans and the mainstream picked them up around 2008.

this is very vauge and kinda off. Skinny Jeans in 2001, ehhh. maybe 2004 for emo first hipster with slim fits and women. Not until late 2000s skinny jeans became mainstream sold for men and women then 2009 came black teens in skinnys.

I liked this decades sense in fashion. It wasn't so crazy and everyone looked nice and simple. Now, I hated the gangster look. That was crappy, and the skinny jeans weren't in until late 08. I was a kid through this entire decade and I remember every trend.

yeah...I might be a bit too young, but when I was 11 in 01, I dont recall anyone wearing skinny jeans. However, I was in 5th grade...so maybe people were. I really don't remember skinny jeans being that popular until 08 when lil wayne and the new boyz started doing the whole jerkin thing. In high school from 05 till 08 skinny jeans were usually only worn by emos

If anyone has seen the music videos for Britney Spears' I'm Not a Girl... , Limp Bizkits Rollin', or Anastacias Sick and Tired, THAT is more like how I remember the early 00s. fashion.

In this they just took tendencies from the later part of the decade and spread them all over. (I don't mind if it were true, as the early parts of the 00s were hideous... but still...)
