WCW was losing money with those huge guaranteed contracts, declining ratings, declining arena attendance and Time Warner decided to pull the plug on the company. WCW could have started pushing younger wrestlers instead of always pushing everyone who was a star in the 1980's. WWF was forced to create new stars in the 1990's because WCW took most of the wrestlers who became stars in the 1980's.

WCW did drop the ball with the nWo in my opinion, and giving them all of that money wasn't smart, but they were getting paid, but so was DX.

Bischoff didn't do the WCW justice, and it was good to see the younger talent get their shine on in the WWF.
