u only increase a combo when a block falls and makes a line. it wont increase when u make the line, it'll stay the same till another naturally falls to make a line
yo i love this game wat do u think is the best tool and a next thing to get chains do u have to align align 3 of the same while its counting or glowing, or can u do it after.impressive i play alot.

This is by far the easiest and effective method to get high combos.

It was rather difficult to record this video while playing. It is obviously much easier to get much higher multipliers without a camera in the way!

It's been a long time since I made this video, and I still get ocassional comments in my email inbox from it.
I should clarify one point--There isn't a glitch.
In order for the multiplier to increase, the blocks must fall into place, rather than slide into place.
This implementation of the game was new at the time, and I didn't yet realize that.
