Take a look at Floyd Mayweather on the pads. but in fairness you could probaly point out a master karate or jui jitsu artist and pit them against a mma fighter.. off course its about the complete skill set and all roundedness but in terms of indebt skills there is much work for these fighters to do.

Yep made Matt Hamill, Brandon Vera, Ryan Bader, Shogun and Rampage look silly and those are some tough guys. Silva is 2nd of course he's awesome no doubt but he hasn't beaten the big names and finished the big names like Jones. GSP 3..AWESOME fighter but..doesn't finish every fight. Edgar will be #2 by end of 2012.
Those 3 will never be champs but.....those are some tough stepping stones on your way to the title and just how easy he made it look going through the guys. Hammill has beaten tough guys like Tito/Jardine. Vera too and Bader just got caught in his last fight he'll be a tough 205'er for a while.
