@thee0zone WWE and High school wrestling are different styles of wrestling. High school wrestling has no submissions nor strikes. And its based on a point system or if you pin your opponent, you get the win automatically. In Pro wrestling (WWE), its a different style of training.

There's quite a lot of WWE wrestlers that have done high school and college wrestling. Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, and Jack Swagger have done High School Wrestling and in College. To go to WWE, all you need is 3-5 years of experience and a high school diploma.

@yoesop stay after practice and wrestle with someone. nothing helps you more than experience in the sport of wrestling. its my first year as well but i think im pretty good cuz im always wrestling and running miles after school. also wrestle with someone better than you. if there not douche bags they can teach you alot. and once u get a couple moves down wrestle with someone that isnt as good as you. it helps you perfect your technique. hope this helps man :)

I've been training is submission wrestling for over a year and love it. What gave me the advantage in no gi bjj tournaments was my wrestling base. For example most guys pull guard when someone shoots in. I always defend with a quarter nelson then flip to side control.
