  • This is his old setup. He has a new setup that honestly hasn't accomplished a hole lot more. As an engine builder Cortney Green Fail's as a, Tuner he has accomplished a great amount, I will give him that.

  • @youdreamtaboutme Agreed. I'm more into planes, but one of the most tested and proven engine is the Lycoming IO-360L2A. Equivalent to the Civic engines. However, car wise i'll stick to my VQ35 purr in my 350Z. :-D

  • Um, I doubt it would affect this really. Seeing as IF you could hook up and not spin tires you could get low readings. Also top speed doesn't change because it had more "power". The final gear ratio stays the same.

  • Let me answer your questions

    1. Just because something is rated at X, doesnt mean 1 more hp is absolutely impossible to make, at 800hp the 750hp core (which I run too) is going to start heating up the air, and not be as effecient.

    2. Reading owns you, he is running a 71mm Turbo with a GTQ Turbine wheel with a .68AR Ex. side.

    3. Every car in his class spools those turbo's and bigger, so whats your point? Its a race car spool is irrelevant when you got 2 step and anti-lag.

  • Unlike your faulty domestic cranks, 8 out of 10 800+hp Honda's use the OEM crank. Eggums 7 sec Civic ran an OEM crank making 1000+hp, T1 is making 950-1000 on the OEM crank, go google Honda crank failures, bet you dont fine much.........

I have the same set up on my eg6. its a Ls-vtec engine it's also call the Frankenstein setup. just the set up will get you over 230hp if done right. with right internals (secret), Hondata, and Mugen parts i got it to 500.now i just hooked up a turbo running real low boost and it's already at 650. hoping to push low 700 soon. and my turbo doesn't even look close to as big as his. BS or no BS

  • You dont have an EG6 cause thats RHD only. There is no "secret" as to what internals to use on a crapp weak B18B block. You didnt come close to 500 NA HP on you motor since fully built K24 can only make 300 NA HP

  • wow so little faith. i dont have a b18b block. i have a b18 head with a b20 block. new everything. not from two different engines that were used. bored and sleeved. real strong. balanced internals different compression ratio11:1 on some 81.5mm arias pistions. real nice throttle responce. its not just about having the engine its about how much u can push it till it blows up.

  • the 2nd line was the torque i think...its a civic so the torque wasn't high, but the hp is high and the weight is low, so do the math, pretty fast. dont think it would last long with that much pressure on the engine, forged pistons or not. i'm not a honda man though, i think 240s are waaaay better, but thats just me
