Chelsea would be dumb to sell Malouda but it wouldn't be the first dumb sell Chelsea would make.

Look at Diarra, that was dumb sell for sure, now he's world class in Real Madrid.

Malouda is world class, just a big player and good smart footballer. Great ball control, great passing accuracy and smart decision.

I'll give you duff (for the first 2 seasons) and Robben. Gronkaer had poor end product, he had speed but that's it.

He scored a few wonder goals in his last season but he was as consistent as Malouda has been in these last 2 or 3 months.

As far as how long you've been a chelsea fan goes... doesn't mean much as evidence by your estimation of Malouda.

And no, there aren't many wingers in football today better than Malouda.

I think malouda will prove to be a great purchase for chelsea. When you compare him against Robben, I would say he's a tad slower (Robben is lightning), has about the same dribbling skills (maybe a bit poorer), but in contrast is a better passer and finisher. My only concern is that he is 4 years older than Robben.
