  • Your muscles burn calories throughout the day as well, just something to keep in mind. If you work in the service industry, or even retail it is possible to burn calories while working.

  • This is bullshit. You burn calories typing on the computer, breathing, talking, and even eating. In fact, running and lifting and other strenuous exercises burn calories afterwards in the recuperation and healing processes after said exercises. Just another guy trying to sell another book

  • This isnt new. Anyone can and has figured this out. This is just the time when the mass media has decided that the rest of the snoozing sheep who make up the public are allowed to find out about it. Much like h20 as fuel, cars that get 100mpg, solare and wind electricity, etc. Anyhoo, hopefull people will actually apply this, but I doubt it.

  • I run 5k 3 times a week and I swim 3 times a month. Fit as a fiddle and in good shape. Can eat as much 'european food' as I like. When your metabolism is up (24 hours for a 40 minute run) it is up. You just have to make sure you get enough protein so that you dont digest your own muscles AND fat is necessary too.
