Anyone can open a store that offers what you want, but people will still line up for cheap seafood. However things like limits on productivity, aka profit, with things like tariffs on imports only hurts a county more. For example we buy cars from Japan cause they are the most efficient at making them. In turn they buy food from us because they are unable to provide all their own food domestically.

So while you may help the car industry get some jobs, your destroying the few jobs we have left in the farming industry. Did you know during the Great Depression our government spent tax dollars to pay farmers to destroy crops? People starving in the street and our government is paying to destroy food so they can keep up the price of food with scarcity.
