@anikid0392 No, this is based off the manga 'switch.' The manga and anime start off at different points though and the manga goes into more into depth in the story while the anime is only two episodes long.

I agree, it is very different so far. They still had kept the theme and purpose which was the drug but the story lines differ a bit.

FIRST TIME SEEING THIS. I'm here accidentally. I stumbled upon this just a minute ago. What is this anime? Is it good? I wouldnt be asking if there were any reviews online but there arent. there isnt even a single DECENT plot summary. but the art here is dang good. but kind of a death note feel to it. is it good? again-

It's amazing. ;D It's called Switch. From what I know, they have 4 volumes out. Kai (the red head) supposedly switches into maybe a physco whenever someone innocent gets hurt. The switch starts with a flashback in the manga. Kai and the blonde, Hal, are investigators in the Narcotics Control Division. Hal is always stopping Kai before he kills someone because of his 'switch.' Although the anime seems to be a little different. I watched The first OVA though. It was still really good! :D

Unfortunately this isn't a series that will air on Japanese TV. It's the first of two OVAs, DVD only releases. The first part is coming out on 24.10.08. :)

yeah OVA means they're not showing it on tv rite instead they'll release it in dvds but still i wonder how many dvds.. if it comes out at the end of october.. i guess... the fastest subbed will be in november.. arghh i can't wait!!!

They said something about Act. 1 which is chapter 1 of the manga and I'm not sure if they'll show Act 1. in the OVA. Because it's an OVA they couldn't show it but only along with the series.
