@XJsavage Hello, i'm pretty sure you will love it! Go listen to "Farsoten kom" if you haven't already. In the matter of fact they changed a lot since Mulmets Viser and Ravnenes Saga - both lyrical content and melodic. More mandolin will be used and less flute (Which was a BIG part of Svartsot back then) and then they also included a none-growled song, it's sung by their live-rythm-guitarist Uffe. Also of course, its not really "Viking" anymore, but more dark and brutal - The black death!

@demonicblessings Yeah man!!! I'm really liking everything I've heard from Svartsot! I discovered them about 2 years ago and the first time I heard the song "tvende ravne" it blew my fawkin mind!!! Absolutely epic in every way!

@XJsavage I'm glad to hear you liked all their stuff, i really came in to them back in the time of "Ravnenes Saga" too, except that i think Thor's voice is alot better than Claus' voice.

Tvende Ravne is indeed one of their best even though "Gravøllet" is my favourite from good ol' "Ravnenes Saga" :)

@demonicblessings Svartsot is one hell of a band... one that more metal group around the world should model themselves after. I bought the album ravnenes saga shortly after discovering the band and i still can't believe how great every song is on that album. Their second album was amazing as well. Of all the great songs on it I still think "visen om taerskeren" is what really made Mulmets Viser phenominal. I'm really looking forward to this new one!
