Damn this scene was dead. I can see why they cut it. It wasn't pushing the story forward in any way. It just felt like talking for the sake of talking, which happens a lot in real life but in a movie, damn near every word should be propelling the story forward or adding character growth. Love all three actors but even they should be glad this scene was cut. Zero chemistry.

@MinorSexualAssault The other person said it, pretty much. The plane went in a dive, basically gives you reduced gravity. There are companies that do this, actually. They'll take you up in a plane, go really high up, then dive for minutes at a time, allowing you to float around the room in simulated 0 gravity.

(Not a comment about this video but...) something that annoys me about youtube is how videos are often not shown in the correct format, often because the file is not "formatted properly" or whatever. Often, many videos are shown that are supposedly 720p or 1080p definition, and they are clearly neither. This clip is clearly at least 480p, maybe even 720p, yet youtube is only showing it as 240p and 360p...what a jip.

lol this scene is great but i can see why it didn't make the final cut. it was just too much. in small doses, the dynamic works humorously in the film but they can't be acting and talking this juvenile ALL the time or else it wouldn't be Stan Lee's Iron Man. This was probably the only deleted scene that could've been all right in the film. Some of the other ones are just flat out stupid, like the one where Hammer holds out an Iron Man action figure in front of the senate, or the one with Olivia Munn flying over Tony's head. Then there's the alternate opening which is hilarious at the beginning, but really unfiting.
