do the handbrakes engage the rear or front brakes??

@StanK2H613 the transmission doesnt lag. when you shift at redline the pcm cuts power to the engine fuel,timing, throttle, ect. i have an azera it does the same thing. hyundai is just overprotective of the engine.

They fixed it later on. The early 2010 models had to come back for the ec reflash and the 2011, which I have, does not have the problem.

There is a vid of a 3.8 turbo on YouTube somewhere. It's real quick. And the 2.0 gets a lot of hp with couple of upgrades with stock internals. Great car. Give Hyundai little more time. I see more and more Hyundai on the road lol. Two thumbs up for the gen coupe!! Getting one in about a week lol.

you are correct about the weight, but If this car were any lighter it would get worse quality ratings. it's a 7 airbag 5 star crash test and those gadgets weigh in unlike cars of the 90's. It's less about the cars themselves as it is the community. Hyundai have some sleezy tuning crowd. maybe this car will change that.

It wasn't ever designed to be fast but to be tuned. Yeah they have been making slow cheap cars, designed by the legend Giugiaro, and Porsche, Lotus, and Peter Stevens who designed McLaren F1. That's what I call learning!

By cheap, we mean taking out all the unnecessary junk, and paying much less insurance. Porsche designed ZF transmission made in Germany. I wouldn't call that bad at all.

All the other sports cars have been out for years upon years. Genesis, only 4 months. Give it some time. 4WD coming soon + facelift.

Only thing I don't like is it's not a hatchback. and i don't see how nobody else sees it but 370Z is funky looking.

yea thats a great feature, but this car is no head turner. i dont know its just my opinion. if you were going to go cheaper in price, because of the turbo, i would get an older subaru sti. its a head turner, and can be tuned very cheap.

yeah I know the sti turbo is a great car and fast I got smoked by one like a month back i have a tiburon gt...However I hate the look of the new Subaru wrx or sti they really fucked them up, if they didn't change the look of the Subaru It would be a simple choice.
