There's a shu Uemura shop in covent garden (shelton street) london. I went past there today. i actually went into space nk which is accros the rd from it and i tried the Dr sebagh stuff. very good i must say but pricey. the break out cream was £55.

I just looked on the Shu Uemura website and there are four cleansing oils in that sort of colour. ('High performance balancing cleansing oil' in 3 types: advanced formula/ enriched/ classic and 'Cleansing beauty oil premium a/i') They vary a lot in price. I bought a Shu Uemura clear cleansing fluid in Japan years ago and it was the best remover ever - even with waterproof mascara. I couldn't find it outside Japan. I wonder whether this oil is similar? I'm going to buy some to find out. Thanks!

I bought a Shu umeura cleanser after watching this video and i have to agree it is AMAZING. clearly the best cleanser I have ever ever purchased. Not a single regret. It gets rid of your even waterproof mascara so fast without leaving any bits behind. I makes all the mascara stick like glue and can be wiped away. Thanks Frey-ja for recommednding this. Amazing!!

Can I just say that I've been using the shu umeura cleansing oil and I LOVE IT!!! Everyone compliments and how great my skin looks, and its sooooo soft. It doesn't really get the eye makeup off, but that wasn't really why I bought it anyway. Highly recommended!!

I've been using Shu Uemura for awhile now, and it's fantastic... I have oily skin and anyone worried about using a cleansing oil shouldn't be, as it leaves your skin well balanced. It really does take off makeup really well as well!!

Sprut6: Are you toning everyday? Because what a toner does is CLOSE UP and minimize the pores, which lessens the amount of bacteria/dirt/other junk that will get into the pores. Then, following it up with a moisturizer. Try that for a week or two, you might just be able to use that cleanser daily.

It would depend on your skin type - there are several different oils from Shu Uemura, more than two.

Yeah but I'd rather invest in something that is known to work and more expensive than a drugstore brand. I used Clean and Clear for a while and it doesent compare to Clinique or Lancôme. I just say to myself, it's my skin and i want to take care of it :)

This is a fab video, thanks so much girls!  Sorry if this question is answered in part 2, but what cleanser and moisturiser routine would you recommend for combination skin which is also sensitive? I find products work on me for about a week and then I get a reaction where my skin is oily so I have to stop using and so waste a lot of money on products. I also find the same thing with face sun tan lotions, the only brand I can now use for those is the Simple range

If you haven't already try look on the lush website for a product called grease lightning! I had problems with spots but i tried this and i swear, in a matter of days my skin was ALOT calmer! It's tea tree based and ALL natural. x

I have notice that natural products works very well for my skin. I LOVE rose mosqueta oil. It is inexpensive and it does the job. The Liz Earle product are great too. But I need to try that Shu Uemura cleanser ASAP and the Becca primer too.

Hi this is Frey-ja, the Shu Uemura cleanser does come in 2 sizes the smaller 1 is less expensive so a great way to start on it. Do remember it is your eye make-up remover, face make-up remover, cleanser, toner and if you use a muslin cloth to remove it exfoliator, so you are actually saving money. You can also ask to try a sample before you buy!!!!

Shu Uemura is famous for its cleansing oils, but they're not better than many other cheaper cleansing oils out there imo. Cleansing oils are common in Asia, so most brands, from high-end to low-end make them. A lot of people use DHC Cleansing Oil (it's a bit pricey in the US but cheap in Japan). My personal favorite is Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil (only $10 in the US and can be found online or at some local Asian stores).
