You see, video gaming isn't just mindlessly shooting everything that moves on the screen, Its about making the player enjoy the game, make it feel like he spent his money well. I see most modern day video games as just, well, video games. But a few games go farther then the norm, Cave story and Skyward sword are 2 good examples, where the game is just...amazing. They are works of art at its finest, an artwork you can Feel, as you take out your first enemies, to beating the final boss.

@supermariojune23 my friends in school know thee value of good games. i thought that telling my friends that graphics matter less thatn the quality of the game would invoke laughter from them, but they all agreed with me, which surprised the hell out of me because they play battlefield and modern warfare. just shows that the stereotypical gamer isn't every gamer. i really wish that i had access to this game, because i really, REALLY want to play it. do you know how i can?

@supermariojune23 while i don't think fps is a bad genre, I believe that not enough is being done to make the genre interesting, besides portal. I love new experiences, which is something that rarely comes from american big developers (the most innovation i see is from indie developers and nintendo). as well, graphics only matter when they intefere with the gameplay when they are really bad (ie. can't tell the player from the background, stuff like that). I'd like to see new things done with fps

@link5205 I agree. I brought my gameboy color in school the other day and this girl tried to steal it from me because I told her I did not like FPS that much, and I was not a big fan of COD at all. I told her what was so good about them, and wanna know what she said? "You kill people as a US soldier... Duh". A game that involves killing doesn't instantly make it perfect, it actually has to have depth. I get mad whenever kids make fun of me for playing "Kiddie Nintendo Systems." Grr....

@link70222 I have to agree with that other guy. I wanted to try out OoT but didn't want to blow my money on a 3DS. I'm a hardcore Star Fox fan who's DS lite couldn't connect to his router via WPA for online play, but I didn't want to blow my money on a 3DS; same deal with Pokemon B/W, too cheap to upgrade to 3DS.

Cave Story announced for release in exactly one month... and then I instantly started looking at 3DS prices in advance. >_>; so i'll get to play OoT as well, because I want this game

... i see something wrong here. sure the 3ds probably took a lot to make, but if i want to play a translated original version, i'd just download it and install a translation patch (matter o fact, i have)
