One more thing, if i order this off the flowmaster website is there anything else I need to buy/bring to the body shop thats installing it? extra pipes, clamps etc...
@grandall148 Thanks for the comment. And yes the actual size of the pipes is 2.5" for inlet and outlet. When I had it installed the guys at the shop didnt even say anything and just put the flared pipes on. I guess it depends what shop you go to, but they just included the extra pipes I needed into the parts cost. As far as the total, I found the muffler on amazon for around $70, and then whatever the shop charges, but I did not have to order any extra pipes online, just the muffler itself.
I have an 05 GC with a 3.7. The sound of your truck is exactly what I'm looking for. You said your in/out on the muffler is 3" but you also needed flared pipes, does this mean that if i get it with a 2.5" in/out it would fit/match perfectly? Also how much did it run you? if you dont mind me asking.
@cawfl75 With the delta flow Ive noticed only minimal drone inside, around about 1.5k RPM and again around 3k. It really isn't bad at all, you can listen to music over it with no problem. I always drive with all my windows down so I get the full sound all the time. As for the performance, I haven't noticed any loss but I have noted a mileage increase of 2 MPG which is always welcome. I plan on putting in an Airaid high flow intake in the near future, which will add some HP and deeper sound.
@jbaringer26 Thanks! working on the funds for an Airaid high flow intake next, I'll post another once I have that on since it will change the sound. And yes, the 40 delta flow will fit on the 2006, assuming yours is a 3.7 like mine. The muffler is offset-in/center-out with 3" inlet/outlet, however the 3" is a little too big so I needed some flared pipes, so I'd go with a 2.5"

Do you have alot of drine inside and did you notice any loss in low end performance? It sounds just like what I'm looking for, for my 3.7 WK.

Sounds great! I was thinking of picking up something similar for my 2006 laredo. Do you know if the flowmaster 40 delta flow fits on the 2006's?
