Shelby did not design the car at all, they we made under licence from AC. You cannot get over the fact that they are BRITISH disign and only the engine was changed from the Bristol that was used.

But the 427 S/C where all ford/ Shelby they put coil overs on all 4 corners redid the fenders and nose and put the new FE big block in it. the 427s are all AMERICAN, im sorry but if the cobra isnt american then Aston Martin, Land rover, Jaguar, and TVR are not British....
