Sometimes it has to do with the brand of paint how the line comes out. And yes walmart cans will puke out paint on some caps (I don't know of any but I know that NY fats puke on them)

Try an Astro fat/universal fat (I believe they are the same thing) - supposedly they work on most cans, so those are your best bet.

personal preference, i always prefer using nyfats/rustos for flares, or at the most an orange dot, i love the look of flairs that are from a fist size, to a pin at the bottom.. = the sex.. i rarely use specialised caps. :D
