I have done that on my left knee, complete rupture of acl and mcl including permanently denting my thigh bone, damaging cartillage, and fracturing the knee, and did the same to my right knee minus mcl and denting of bone... all from indoor soccer lol

I know where your coming from but, I do disagree that adrian peterson was the BEST running back to ever suit up. There were so many better ones before him.

It's 50/50. Some guys come back the same and others like Edgerrin James, Ki Jana Carter, McNabb are never the same.

Not sure if their injuries are comparable but Frank Gore, Terry Allen and Willis Maghaee came back from ACL injuries in college and didn't seem to lose a step.

Feel for you bro. This is why you don't risk starting your franchise player in a meaningless game. They lost Peterson and the #2 or #1 pick.
