this really worked for my flower horn fish. the pink on his gills spread all over his face and hump.. he was looking kind of weird. i increased the temp to 30 degree c from 26 (86 degree F) and added rock salt. after 1 week he fully recovered. i dint know wether it was ich or not but iam sure it was some parasite infection. watch my video which is after his recovery. he is very active and happy :)
Tetras, Balas, Danios with ich. Fresh water 80 degrees. Increased to 84 over 4 hours. Began adding aquarium salt. 1/4 teaspoon hour 1, 1/4 teaspoon hour 2. Hour 3 fish were docile. Hour 4 getting worse. Never added 3rd dose. Changed 5 more gallons water. 30 min later fish livening up. 30 minutes later changed 5 more gallons, fish doing better. Changed 5 more gallons, hour 5 fish dying fast. Tetras can't handle salt, nor balas or Danios. Danios lived due to removing salt.
my fish have ick iv bumped my temp up and added salt but api salt and im using KOI fish treatment seems to be going ok so far....tank is fucking blue tho
raise temp to 82-84F first..(SLOWLY).....add 1tsp of AQUARIUM SALT not table salt!!!!per 5 gallons (mix in aquarium water then slowly add to tank). This shit beats using meds that destroy your tank and ornaments.
i brought sum whit spot treatment for fish n turned up the temprature in my tank n added exactly wat it said it seems to be going :) my preggy guppy had it all over her tail majority of my fish got whit spots on there tails and fins sinse iv treated it with ich liquid n banged up the temp and did a 50% water change its disapeared my fishys r happy now n iv noticed the whit spots have vanished :)
I won't use the table salt - the only stuff I can find has iodine and who knows what else in it.
QUESTION: On one of my goldfish (both of them are infected), the white spots are exclusively on the gill cover, while the other has the dots only along the pectoral fins. Is this indicative of the stage of the parasite, the strength or weakness of the fish's immune system, or is the placement of the dots just random, and my gill fish just unlucky?
Is it me or is she talking to us like we are Morons ?
