Do you notice how his eyes light up in his videos? That's true passion! We need more artisans like you sir who are willing to part with their knowledge free of charge. The world is a better place for it. I thank you!
No glue construction, intresting. Alot of tong and groove as well as a few tendons and mortices make that one up. Got to have the right equipment to make them though, unless you want to do it all by hand witch would really be quite a masterfull approch to it. Though a bit unused at the time now. I'm sure it would take him at least.... say.... 4 or more hrs. of work to make it. Not bad at all, very good work.
Very creative. the use of the cut aways for the folding draws is well thought out. As part of my course i had to do a flat pack project that included a simular design. 5*
From a 4th generation woodworker. I can see that designing it must have taken a good bit of time. But very creative and if you mass produced and sold that you would make a fortune if you get together with the right company.
The stuff you make are amazing. If you dont get paid to do this or anything your wasting good time. I hope you can find a way to mass produce this stuff. Heck, Id buy that crossbow you had!
Ikea should hire you on as a designer. These things would be relatively easy to create in a factory setting, and since they require no screws or glue would be cheap and easy to put together.
Nice... The only thing I'd have done differently are the drawers. Storage would be much more efficient if all the drawer sides were hinged and pinned so that they folded down like flower petals when the drawer was being stored.
It might be too expensive to build for resale but what about selling the plans?

You should make an eBay store. I'd buy one for a reasonable price!
maxiewawa 2 years ago
A reasonable "price to buy" makes it infeasible to produce in Canada or the US, unfortunately.
