  • What is with the high hip placement on the bar? The hang clean is supposed to be an explosive lift utilizing triple extension of the ankles knees and HIPS! He's not using any hip power its all back...OUCH!

  • The power clean is for power for the legs not the arms. All hes doing is pulling that up with his arms which is impressive but sort that form out

  • thats the worst form ive ever seen in my life who is coaching these kids

  • is anyone actually teaching these guys how to DO a hang clean? I'm not at all ripping the athlete, as most youtube commenters would, but I'm more concerned these guys are pushing to lift such heavy weight with an obvious deficiency of form...

    Aaron just muscles this up. If he had proper form, he'd be cleaning 350.. 400... more????

    But with this form, he'll likely get injured before he sees those kinda weights.
