Wikipedia says the great Amazon river dolphin is endangered, according to some "International Union for Conservation ...", which says this dolphin is endangered for several reasons. None of them mention another reported reason I came across mention of with a general Web search and it's that this dolphin is also being hunted and used for bait, which is a criminal thing to do to this creature. Google using the following search phrases, f.e.

I didn't notice the name of these dolphins in this video or the copy of it at Discovery, but did a search at Wikipedia, which has a page for these mammals. It's the page for "Amazon river dolphin" and gives other names : Bufeo, Bufeo Colorado, Boto ..., Boutu, Nay, Tonina, and Pink Dolphin. So I tried a search of the Discovery site again and it states the same name in a caption for a photo. Wikipedia says this cetacean has a brain 40% larger than humans have, but adds that it's endangered!

The great thing about this show is that he seems to be able to find and get close to animals that other other shows only offer fleeting glimpses of. Last time I saw a show with river dolphins they had almost no film of them. They said they were so endangered you couldn't find them and yet this guy found a few of them up close so we can see them.
