  • Don't you just love the feel of a solid, tight, non-plastic firearm? Had a 226, now just the 239, and despite the weight, I enjoy the confidence of carrying an exceedingly reliable pistol.

  • SWEET VID ,great I love sigs ...the 357 sig has a lot of power it will be my next ...

  • finally a shooting vid worth watching.

Very proficient use of the gun, I'm impressed.

    Thank you.

  • How is the DAK trigger ?

  • Nice grouping...I like the straggler at the bottom :) If it were life and death, they'd bleed out faster though...

  • 2 ruger fans were here

  • @dogmen51 Wrong 3 Glock fans were here.

  • Bulls eye club ?

  • damn thats good!!!

  • I'd like to try out the DAK sometime to see how I like it on my P229.

  • nice grouping man, how is the recoil on the 357sig? do you shoot better with the 357sig or the .40? which round is more powerful?

  • @songmanslim .357 is more powerfull and accurate. .40 is cheep so its good for the range. I have both barrels for my 229 and thats my opinion.

  • Very Nice!

  • that fiocchi shit is one hell of a load, penetrates 54 inches of gelatin, nothing to fuck with.

  • Nice group! I actually rented this yesterday at an indoor range. It was the most powerful pistol cartridge I'd fired to date. Long story short, the recoil kicked my ass. After I warmed up to it and improved my grip, it was a really fun round to shoot. The pistol itself was decent.

  • Nice Shooting!!

  • great grouping.

    I love the .357SIG

    I definitely going to buy a P229

  • is the felt recoil the same as on the .40?

  • Nice grouping for a .357 and little recoil it seems...

  • Nice. Ive been thinking of getting the 357SIG barrel for my Sig 229Dak too.

  • nice shooting, awesome gun, but the release of the slide when not chambering a new round makes me cringe.. gives me the shivers

  • I understand the concern. I did drop the magazine 1st. I have since stopped using the slide release in general. In an emergency tactical reload situation, the chances of having the fine motor skills to thumb release the slide is questionable and tenuous at best. I pull back on the slide in all situations now.

  • @MoreCowbellBaby1965 Exactly, it's a scientific fact that most peoples' IQs hit near retarded levels in a shoot out, so gross motor skills trumps fine motors skills.

  • Awesome shooting and awesome handgun

  • I'm thinking about switching from .40S&W to .357sig for my concealed carry pistol. The hydrostatic effects are quite pronounced from what i've read..

  • does this gun loads magnum rounds

  • @nedbigby123 Sig turned the .357 magnum round into a pistol round named the .357 Sig so it could be used into pistols :)

  • @nedbigby123 -- No, the gun will not accept .357 magnum ammo. The ballistics for the .357 magnum and .357 sig are identical @ 125grains. The .357 magnum has better ballistics as weight increases, where the .357 sig ballistics drop off significantly once the weight is increased.

  • @nedbigby123 -- All the ballistics I have read show 1350fps for target ammo and 1500fps for high end stuff (CorBon +P). @ 125 grains

  • Great job, we need more videos out here like this one. There are too many wannabe's and not enough true shooters out there. Thanks for a good video.

  • skitter skitarsun

  • Anybody that complains about recoil of a .357 Sig needs to man up, pull the rip cord and let their nutsack deploy. I can effectively put multiple rapid rounds on target with no trouble. it's about proper technique and practice, and being a marine, you should be good.

  • The .357 SIG even has the power to cause hydrostatic shock which further demonstrates its stopping power.

  • The .357 SIG is the BEST handgun ammunition because it has more energy (joules) than the .45 and also its faster velocity so more accurate. People always talk .45 is everything its shit. Its low velocity can't do anything past 40 meters seriously I mean energy wise a jacketed hallow point 9mm has more energy. Too bad the USP Tactical isn't chambered in .357 SIG only the compact and conversion kits are rare and UNRELIABLE.

  • @princepersia1 -- I second the .357 in a HK USP. Too bad it only comes in the compact version.

  • IMO, the recoil is just fine, sure it kicks harder than average, but not too bad for me.

  • I'm thinking about converting my 229 to DAK. How is it?

  • Nice Grouping!

  • Far more practical and tactical than a .357magnum D.E.

  • nothing is better than the dessert eagle! dessert eagle is delicious! i don't care what the conservationists say.

  • lol

  • Bad ass dude. You eat eagles for dessert?

  • Great shooting!

  • Nice, I love my 229 in .40, can't wait to get the .357 sig barrell.

  • Nice! Just got myself a 229R 9mm DAK too, might get another one later this year in .40 (SAS GEN 2) but convert it to a DAK. I really prefer DAK oer the DA/SA.

  • good shooter

  • got a sig p250 9mm with nite sites love it great gun....

  • I loves my DAK. 357 is what I use for fun, 40 is what I am stuck with EDC. I really like the 1300+ FPS 125 grain blasts.

  • Pretty good shooting! I have a Glock 31(.357). How far was the target? 30ft?

  • Comment removed

  • where is this range at it looks similar to one near me

  • Absolutely AWESOME!!!

  • Nice SIG

  • how is Fiocchi ammunitions for this caliber?

  • hella beautiful, its all i run thru my p229 and p228

  • Beautiful grouping.

  • nice shooting

  • I have a P220 with a DA/SA trigger and I have never tried a dak trigger, does it affect the accuracy and is it hard to get used to? I'm considering getting my next pistol with a dak trigger so I want to be prepared. Thanks for help, anybody!!!

  • I have a P229 with the DAK trigger, I think it's the smoothest easiest trigger in existence. If you start firing with the hammer in the "pre-cocked" position (which I always do- I insert magazine with the slide locked back, then release it forward, putting hammer in the pre-cocked position), then you just have a smooth 6.5 lb trigger pull all the way through. If you always release the trigger fully between shots, then you will have the 6.5 lb trigger all the way through.

  • I have a 226 DAK in 9mm. The pull is looooong, but I agree it is smooth. I'm pondering buying the standard DA/SA kit for it. Just seems cooler to me

  • nice shooting man. nice gun

  • No Smiley?

  • Nice shooting. DAK is a difficult trigger to master. Took me awhile since I am used to shooting my traditional Sigs.

  • Props on the shooting brother except for the one on the bottom 4 out of 5 on the 10 ring... great vid

  • Nice shooting mate. Don't worry bout the flier, theres allways one...

  • Good control. I also got a Sig P229 Dak .40. Look into the Hogue rubber grip.

  • What was the distance? 15 yards?

  • FUCK!

    AWESOME SHOOTING BRO!

  • Is that a flier, or just the first round?

  • holy crap, awesome shooting man

  • Nice grouping.

  • nice shooting.

  • Bang!!! Bang!!!
