Strange that Tancredo is a prolifer, and yet speaks of over population. Before illegal immigration was an issue, prolifers were the ones who rejected the pro-abortion paranoia about over population. Ironic that the number of our own babies which we have killed since 1973 - 50 million - is about the number of immigrants we would have had we allowed all to come who wanted to.
We agree: some immigrants are criminals. I want to restore respect for law by correcting immigration laws which violate God's laws as listed under my 'more info'. If God has no respect for them, perhaps that is why immigrants perceive they do not merit respect.
I do respect this nation's immigration laws. I don't believe that illegal aliens should decided which American laws they will and will not obey. Three of the 9/11 hijackers were illegal aliens by virtue of overstaying their visas. The had committed no crimes before 9/11. Should they have been deported for violating this nation's immigrations laws?
I take it you mean deported before they commited crime. Senator Sessions June 27 made a similar point: national tracking of every immigrant won't be enough, because it won't catch terrorists who haven't committed a crime yet and thus who have no fingerprints on file. Trouble is, that argument applies to legal immigrants and tourists too. And even citizens! How do we catch people who may in the future become criminals? Living among humans creates risks.
