  • I was fortunate, very fortunate to have watched Christa Ludwig as "Leonore" at the Munich State Opera House in 60s when it was re-opened after the bombing during WW II. In my books - the best "Leonore" ever.

  • Excellent, one of the best Florestans ever (vocally, my favorite) and Ludwig was an excellent Leonore. Does any one have info on obtaining this whole video?? :-)
