Great video, thoroughly enjoyed watching in remembrance of those brave loyal soldiers of the 6th Army that were utterly sacrificed for Hitler's insane apetite. A waste of life in there prime on both sides for what? for the prestige of conquering a city named after Stalin. There was no strategic benefit for the Germans to conquer this city all that was required was to surround it on both sides along the Volga and by doing so preventing supplies in reaching Stalingrad. Since the Allies won. They earned the right to write history as they please. Implying that Germans were all Nazis and died for hitler and hitler alone. Fact of the matter is, most Wehrmacht soldiers didn't fight for hitler. Some of them joined the army because of their early successes and getting to wear the German uniform. They fought for Germany and not for the Nazi party.
