That biker is an arse, i still dont agree with Christianity, it contradicts its self a lot, And there is no proof of any existance of any god. Sure you have books, but anyone could write those, you could be worshipping a drunks very creative story. Where as there is a lot of scientific proof of life evolving an what not, The universe is very large and the amount of atoms is limited, and they are constantly being smashed together, all it takes is time for the right combo of atoms to occur.
@sh9683 Wheres your proof, I could believe in a flying spaghetti monster who created weed got high and say he created everything, but i have no proof of this. And before you say the bible is proof no, it isnt, a book can be written by anyone.
@spiderstrider96 well the fact he has answered many prayers, the fact my mom survived a drop that would normally kill someone and she left with only two broken wrists is all evidence he is real.
your an idiot if you believe in the spagetti monster what prayer did he answer? did he save your soul? did he save someone from cancer? no.
GOD HAS! your just too blind to see that! btw the bible wasn't written by just anyone and has the most scripts to back up its validity then any other historicalnote
@spiderstrider96 i suppose you do not believe in wind? you can't see it! i can't see it, no one can see it! so why do we believe there is sucha thing as wind? because we see its effects! a blind man would not see its effect so maybe to him wind is illogical and as sci fi as a "flying spagetty monster". doesn't make wind a make belief!
same with God you blind people do not see his goodness, though it is everywhere, you are blind! that is why you do not see his actions!
@sh9683 Wind is a change of pressure you cannot see a force and there is evidence for this force, scientific evidence. I'am yet to see one shred of credible evidence of any supernatural being which can be classed as "God". And your mother may have survived a fatal drop but things like that are mathematical chances and they occur often due to the amount of people there are. Yet again the bible isn't evidence it doesn't prove existence of anything, only that people can be creative and organized.
@sh9683 Plus ive never heard of god saving anyone from cancer, or answering anyone's prayers. Sure anyone can answer anyone's prayers, doesn't make them magical creatures that can Produce things out of nothing. Also i see no proof of souls. I'd much rather believe in a flying spaghetti monster rather than "God".
I feel like you should have emphasized that God still loves him despite all he's done (and proud of doing) and is yearning for a relationship with him. Otherwise I completely respect your confidence in what you do.
I feel like you should have proceeded to talk about Jesus early on, rather than spending most of the time asking questions about his own condemnation. By the time you were full on talking about Jesus, he wasn't listening and it seemed like you were giving a monologue to the general people there. I feel like the "Are you a 'good' person" test is better to use when you are talking to somebody who regards them self as a decent person who could go to heaven.
Demonstrate the power of the Lord through signs and wonders, only then will they see and believe. Don't cast your pearls before swine. Keep sewing your seeds brother.
well i dont know why people are arguing on this comment page but hey brother! i am going to try and preech on the streets when im older too. Your a great christian example
The truth of everything has been around for thousands of years. It is that there is a Maker of everything. Now I can prove there is such a Maker because the function of hydrogen working inside of us as ordained has a Maker and the Maker of the function of hydrogen is the Maker of all matter in the universe consisting primarily and initially of hydrogen. So there is One Maker of one set of working elements made to function in one set of life forms and there is no evidence of any other maker.
To answer the question: probionts, which have been seen to forum both in the lab and possibly in nature as well (as nanobes). Aggregates of abiotically-produced organic molecules surrounded by a membrane or a membrane-like structure, exhibiting many properties of life, including simple reproduction, metabolism and homeostasis.
It is not complex life; but it is also not 'non-life'. It does form from non-life though.
but thenhe tuns around with tho shalt not kill and then he says to turn the other cheek but says an eye for an eye. which fucking one is it make up your fucking mind. jesus h fucking christ. you know what lets just say for arguments sake that god is real and everything in the bible is true. id still tell the hatful prick to go fuck himself cause id rather go to hell and burn forever then to be stuck in heaven kissing his ass for all eternity. AnimeQueen you rule whieliketar go fuck yourself
oh and by the way have you even really watched those lectures. ha i bet you just watched the parts when your christian brethren raged on there oponents with illogical mumbo jumbo while you bat yourself off saying " oh yeah go get um christ yeah" you realize that christ was pro slavery and child abuse hell he even said that tho may stone an unruly child. A FUCKING CHILD, kill him by flinging stones at him for somthing a trivial as arguing or not going to bed on time.
dipshit you relize its people like you that make some christians look like illogical hateful assholes. but there is one thing that AnimeQueen got wrong you are already being very christ like. your acting like a presumptious ass who insults and castigates anyone whos opinion dosent match your own hipocrite
i love how respectful and logical QueenAnime is being dispite the fact that whiteliketar has continually insulted him with illogical ramblings and assumptions its funny how he tries to put words in his mouth and twists what he says. also he has yet to refute a single thing AnimeQueen has said. he just keeps changing the subject or insulting him like " ha ha how can an atheist lecture a christian about being christ like" gez i dont know maybe he actually took the the time to study your religion
@Repenttrust, the point of atheism is simply not believing in a god. The reason we don't believe is because we literally can't. Many atheists do not claim to have all the answers and many will admit that they don't know how or why we came to be. Preach to your heart's content, but please understand that you won't be proving your beliefs unless you have objective evidence. Good day.
atheist arguments always sound rock solid initally but they always seem to fall apart when confronted with the same science they try to use to deny God.
@whiteliketar Here's the thing: Atheists do not "deny" God; we just don't believe in one. We can't deny something that doesn't appear to exist to us. There aren't too many "atheist arguments" except that there is currently no objective evidence that a God exists, which is true. I'm an atheist but I'll fully admit that I don't know how we came to be and there are many things I don't know or understand. But I will not just answer everything I don't know with "God did it!"
@QueenAnime99 - whose fault is it you keep dropping your thinking hat? the evidence is pretty overwhelming that the ' God did it' theory is correct - can the sun create itself? can the moon do it? can matter create itself ? the more we know the less we know. Good and evil is there for all to see..no amount of atheist babble can satisfy
@whiteliketar There is zero OBJECTIVE evidence that a god, let alone your specific God, exists. I don't know how things came to be, but simply saying "God did it" is not the way to find out. We need to establish that a god actually exists first. All I was trying to do was educate you about atheism, but I guess you just want to argue with me & insult me. Great Christian behavior, there. Unless you want to have a civilized discussion with me about atheism, I'm done. Good day and good life.
@QueenAnime99 ha ha - a sensitive atheist - I guess there's a first for eveything -in any case - you want your little atheist god to come down so you can get out your ruler and measuring tape - it aint gonna happen my sensitive atheist comrade . ' God did it ' is still a better option than 'chance did it' . please have a glass of milk
@whiteliketar I'm not sensitive, but I like respectful behavior. And there are a lot of atheists out there like me. Honestly, I don't know whether a god'll ever show itself or not. Again, my point was simply to explain the atheist viewpoint. "God did it" is not a better option than "We don't know." If humans truly want to learn more about the world, we need to admit that we don't know everything. I don't know what you mean by "Have a glass of milk" but whatever. Good day and good life.
@QueenAnime99 whose fault is it that your presupposition is to wipe the creator from the equation - of course if you presuppose that there is no maker of a bridge - you'll always keep looking for the cause of the bridge and that's where you enter the atheist merry go round. In the end faith must go where logic can go no further. The Bible claims to have the answer - at least be open minded for crying out loud. repeating to yourself atheist dogma is not going to make God go away .glass of milk
@whiteliketar Instead of making assumptions about what I think, you should be asking me questions. Especially when you don't understand atheism. "I don't know" doesn't mean I'm trying to wipe a creator from the equation. "I don't know" literally means "I don't know." And if I'm saying "I don't know," I'm obviously open-minded. I don't know if you realize it, but your religion isn't the only one saying that it's correct. If you want to learn more about atheism, please PM me. Thanks and good day.
@QueenAnime99 - ha ha - you are open minded and yet want to teach me about atheism - I spend a lot of time in atheist camps - it just helps to strengthen my faith - I suggest you fill that 'open mind' with the teachings of the bible and examine the evidence. stop being so profoundly illogical.
@whiteliketar You don't appear to understand what atheism is if you think it's weird that one can be atheist & open-minded. My intentions are not to challenge your faith, but I did take issue with your comment about atheist arguments always "falling apart" b/c we don't have too many arguments in the 1st place & most are impossible to tear apart b/c most just state "I don't know." And saying "I don't know" is never illogical. If you have questions about atheism, PM me. If not, don't. Good day.
@whiteliketar By the way, if you have any objective evidence that your God exists, feel free to send it to me. But the Bible is not enough. Most every religion has a religious book that says it's correct. By the way, as you know, faith is illogical. So, think about that before telling me to "stop being illogical" because not only are you insulting yourself but you're being uncivilized and it reflects badly on you. Act more Christ-like if you're going to call yourself a Christian. Thanks.
@QueenAnime99 - ha ha - an atheist lecturing me on being Christlike - that's like a savage giving a lecture on the travails of eating human flesh - Who says the Bible is not enough> you?! why should anyone believe atheist comments about the Bible? are you sure that every religion says its correct - Bhuddism is not a religion - just thought you might not know - Hinduism and the Bahais are pretty open - judaism dosen't really care? do u even know what u are talking about? think before u type-pls
@whiteliketar Look, if you aren't going to be Christ-like for other people, at least do it for Jesus. LOL. The point I was trying to make is that your Bible is not enough when it comes to objective evidence. That's it. The reason I brought up other religions (Buddhism is a religion & a philosophy, btw) is b/c you were trying to imply that I'm illogical/not open-minded just b/c I don't share your particular beliefs. When you say that, you imply that non-Christian theists are the same way. Get it?
@whiteliketar, My biggest issue I'm having is that you are making a LOT of assumptions about me & what I believe simply b/c I identify as atheist. I am open-minded & logical & you would understand me better if you made an effort to get to know me instead of comparing me with atheists you know & your idea of atheism. If you have questions about atheism and/or what I personally believe, you can PM. It's hard to fully explain myself in the short amount of space on YT videos. Good day.
@QueenAnime99 ha ha - you are just a baby atheist - at least listen to the debates between lennox and dawkins and harris vs shermer and hitchens vs desouza and educate yourself a bit more - i suspect you are regurgitating some atheist dogma that tickles your little unbelieving sou. lol
@whiteliketar Hello. I'm not going to read this post (or any further posts from you) unless you send it to me via a PM. Like I hinted at in one of my most recent posts, I can't continue this discussion in the comments section because there is not enough space to fully explain myself. Not to mention that I feel it's kind of inappropriate to have this discussion on someone else's page. So, if you want to continue this discussion, please PM me. If not, don't. Thank you & good day.
@whiteliketar Again, PM me if you want to continue the conversation. Unless you want my e-mail address or something, this is my final post to you on this page. Good day.
@QueenAnime99 I have no idea why you would beleive I have an interest in continuing the conversation - I am engaging at least 5 to 10 atheists any given time and learning more of their of their propaganda but most of it is boring now - God has given you a long rope - if you want to hang yourself - whose fault is that?
funny how stupid religious ppl abuse the fact that science cant answer yet to all question . Think about 1000 years ago , and some stupid religious ppl said ,,,bla bla bla evolution is stupid , same as science . And someone said , someday science will get you fly ....and the religious ppl say " HA ? how " and obviously the science guy cant answer it ....he said " we are working on it " now we can fly , someday we will answer all question .
Funny that atheist wants to talk about hailing Satan has been there's no God. If he doesn't that one exist then he already denying the other one's. So, shut up.
The Law of Biogenesis was created to renounce *spontaneous generation*. It is to biology something like Newton's physics or the spherical model of the Earth.
If it were to be written today, it would be something like "Functional, reproductive sequences of nucleic acids can only be created by replication of other such sequences."
A question. Does God have a biological basis of nucleic acids? Is God a carbon-based life-form, as is predicted by the Law of Biogenesis?
a-biogenisis has shown life can come from non-life.
A good person by the biblical definition has never shaved. Has never worn cotton/polyester blend clothing. Owns slaves from other countries. Kills all disbelievers. Kills witches. Stones their children to death the first time they're disobedient. Worships on Saturday, not Sunday. Need I go on? You guys pick and chose way too much along with your lack of evidence.
this video is in spite of the fact that a man paid billions of dollars to create the first man-made cell ever, get up to date with your facts... also there has never been any negative proof of the theory of panspermia, so that is still a possibility
You're quoting an author (:05) who derives happiness from smashing infants heads' against stones (PS 137:9) & who praises allah/yhwh as one who trains hands for war & fingers for battle (PS 144:1). What exactly does he, or you, know about corruption & abominable works?
@YesYou123333 it's not voodoo science, and this idiot obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. This person probably stumbled upon Biogenesis and wanted to share this with people thinking he has finally found a loop-hole in logic and reason. What he failed to do however is research further into the topic and look up ABIOGENESIS which clearly explains how life originated. Look up miller-eury and haldane oparin. Reason is the thing that has given us the inventions of the 21st century idiot.
@nightname6 Yes it is. Earth itself came from stellar debris. Elements heavier than helium are formed inside stars by nuclear fusion. elements heavier than iron come only from large starts which reach supernova stage. Had it not been for such events long before earth formed, earth could only be a ball of hydrogen with a little helium. We could not exist. But that's a step beyond my point, which is that life comes from non-life.
@nightname6 I get your point, that earth could have been seeded by asteroids or comets, but that's a fairly large stretch, and even if so, it came from non-life there. Even the weird idea of space aliens seeding earth encounters the same arguments. if earth was seeded by space aliens, they'd have likely picked earth because it already had life, thus free O2, for their experiments. And even if not, the aliens' would have come from non-life originally. Blaming supernatural is illogical.
And for the statement about mass extinction not having genetic proof, couldn't you make the same argument about the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction. Even if there was genetic proof of this, you could still make the argument of it being caused by a Great Flood. As a sidenote I'd like to say, I appreciate you keeping this a conversation and not an argument like I've had in the past on this topic. I look forward to your reply
But none of that is fact. It's just your opinion, which your entitled to. But you claimed you could falsify my beliefs. All you've done is stated religious groups have been wrong in the past, in the same way that scientists have been wrong in the past. It was "fact" that earth was flat 500 years ago. We all know how that turned out
@YoungandUnashamed22 Firstly, Pythagoras was the first to suggest a spherical Earth ~600BC, and Erastothanes was the first to prove it ~200BC by comparing shadows at the same time of day in different parts of the world (Greece and Alexandria.).
We can falsify the Biblical God by falsifying the claims made in the Bible, for example, a global flood didn't happen. If it did happen we would see a layer of sediment depicting a flood (A layer with a gradient from smal to large particles.) that...
@YoungandUnashamed22 that... spans the entire globe. This layer of sediment would stick out like a sore thumb, it would litterally be very, very irrational to say "There was no global flood." if this layer were there. But equally, it would also be very, very irrational to say that there was a flood if this layer couldn't be found. The fact is, if there was a global flood, then this layer WOULD be there, and it would be impossible to miss.
You see? We already have one instance where the Bible...
@YoungandUnashamed22 Bible... disagrees with the facts. That's justo ne piece of evidence against the flood as a possibility, there's also evidence in genetics (Such a mass extinction would also stick out like a sore thumb, in the genome of everything alive today.), paleontology (The same flood layer described earlier would have a very high concentration of fossils.), andm uch more.
This is just a single innacuracy in the Bible, there's lots more, and considering it's the only thing...
@YoungandUnashamed22 only thing... that even suggests the existence of a God, with so many things that are just plain wrong, and no external evidence to support God's existence, even as a hypothesis, there's absolutely no rational reason to believe in God.
Hence "Faith" - beief in somethng for which there is no evidence, gullibility masquerading as a virtue.
@Vehementi Sorry I have been working late the last few days and haven't had much free time. Yeah this is true but just because the masses see things as in one area doesn't mean it's recognized as fact in others. I was referring to Europe in 1492 when Christopher Columbus was preparing to set sail. I know that is debatable but my point is scientists aren't 100% accurate. As far as the great flood, there is geological proof of it. That proof is in the form of layers of strata in every corner of..
@YoungandUnashamed22 Scientists will never be 100% accurate, because absolute certainty is unscientific, what we can be, though, is be certain beyond any reasonable doubt.
If the creationists were right in saying that the layers of rock and fossils supported a flood, they'd be wrong, nowhere in the entire geological column is there evidence of a global flood.
If there was, we'd see a single layer - not multiple layers, that was a gradient from small to large particles. Instead...
@YoungandUnashamed22 instead... what we see is lots of layers, all getting progressively older the deeper down you go, with no single flood gradient spanning the whole globe.
What would we see in terms of fossils? We'd see one layer (The same layer with the gradient.), filled with fossils of all kinds of species.
Instead, what we see is fossils spread more or less evenly through all of history, going from primitive in older layers to newer. For example, we have at the lowest depths...
@YoungandUnashamed22 depths... the fossils of simple pre-cambrian species, as we go up the gologiical column we see more complex fossils, arthropods, fish, etc. Keep going up and we see amphibians arising in the sediment, like that of Tiktaalik Rosae. Progressing further up the column we see the first reptiles then dinosaurs and mammals. We never find amphibians during the cambrian, we never see mammals buried amongst the first, primitive amphibians.
@YoungandUnashamed22 The problem with what creationists believe is it's nonsense. Where are the papers on the global flood? Where's the peer review? Why aren't they out there digging up evidence of this flood and recording their finds for other paleogeologists to examine?
Real science progresses through hard, vigorous experimentation, not the religion-fuelled babblings of a priest or fraudster.
Essentially, these people have tricked you into believing they follow...
@Vehementi every culture in the world seperated by oceans and time tell that at some time the earth was completely covered with water.science has shown this to be true as well.that is why you will find a fossilized tropical rain forest in antartica and whales in kansas.science HAS proven what the bible as well as mayan, indian, chinese, egyptian and african flood stories have been telling us for thousands of years.
@cassidy99ful The thing is, though, it wasn't, and never has been.
You can say "science HAS proven what the bible...been telling us..." , but until you produce that ACTUAL science, and provide resources (ie peer review papers) confirming it, then would you kindly stfu about science? Because I've not seen one single paper claiming the Earth was flooded.
/watch?v=vMBPaAytNuE Again, go here, watch some of the videos supplied in the crotch bar.
@YoungandUnashamed22 follow... scientific principals and methoods, when the fact is, they don't.
Sites like answersingenesis and people like Kent Hovind, or Banana Man are very, very anti-science. They rely on their followers to a) Not actually do any real research on the subject and believe everything they say and b) have absolutely no scientific knowledge and a strong belief in God to manipulate.
Do yourself a huge favour, head over o this video - /watch?v=vMBPaAytNuE - and watch some of...
Absolutely anything you hear pertaining to science in those videos is verified and agreed with, and there are thousands upon thousands of peer-review papers to prove it. You're free, and encouraged, to research them from independent sources.
@Vehementi of the earth that contains the same types of elements. Many young earth creationists believe that the thousands of feet of rock layers and fossils found all of the earth are from the flood. Fossils of sea-shells have been found on the tops of mountains. I realize most of the physical proof of creationists is the same as that of evolutionists but you can't say this disproves creation just i can't say fossils and layers of rock disproves evolution. I
This good person test is a joke. Everyone is good, they just make bad decisions. It's a tool that christians use to judge people, and it's absolute bullshit. And this guy is satanist, not a devil worshipper, you fool.
I want you to answer my question that i have right now. because if you don't then you are not a good christian. (since you wear the cross)
Have you ever had a problem in which you could not find the answer to? have you ever been thoroughly stumped in something that you cannot find reason to?
The obvious answer is yes...there are things in which NO ONE understands...specifically, why the universe was created and how the first singularity came to be.
I have to apologize for this so called Atheist that is portrayed in this video. That is not what Atheism is all about, at least to most Atheists. I am an Atheist, but it is not at all because I hate your God, or people who believe in higher beings. In fact, if someone were to give me irrefutable proof of a God, I would have no trouble believing, but I just think that right now, my experiences with science and logic lead me to believe otherwise.
@Repenttrust isnt it so obvious the manifestation of the demons when the word of God is spoken. it pisses off the demons so much they have to act out, make themselves known, from simple words spoken from the Almighty Father lol. the guy in the video as confused and distraught and blind did infact prove what atheism is and that is satanic worshipping. cause bottom line you server God or satan thats it. doesnt matter the umbrella you try and hide under. God bless you Repenttrust, may He guide you.
Actually your an idiot... Back in the 50's they created the first protein from non living material, and to date they have made 7 proteins from non living materials...
The law of biogenesis is thought to be exempt for microbial organisms. It exists to dispel the ancient greek notion that animals or humans could be created from rocks by gods.
Similarly, if there was a god who created the first organism, then, by your version of the law of biogenesis, god is also a living being, meaning that god has a life span, thus disproving the christian notion that god is immortal. I'm just using your logic here.
WOW! man you are brave! I respect the fact that you go on streets and preach (for a second i thought you were gonna get punched in the face xD) Good Job, Keep It Up!
I would be absolutely thrilled to educate you on how life arose from non-life. This woman is obviously a 'street-atheist', analogous to a 'street christian', and is not well educated. I'm really unimpressed with her responses, and the loud biker guy is just a retard.
If you'd like a response from someone well-educated in biology and big bang cosmology, simply respond to this message and I will make you a video!
You start your video with the passage "The fool has said in their heart, 'There is no God.' They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none who does good."
So, do you believe that, as the Bible says, there are no people -- not even one -- who don't believe in a god, but who do good?
You are just arguing from ignorance. Your line of reasoning is that because no one has convinced you that there is no God, then God must be real (and for some reason the bible). Similarly, just because the people you have spoken with in this video cannot answer your questions accurately, doesn't mean what you are saying is true.
Think about this. If you had been born in another culture, you would certainly have different beliefs. If your parents had raised you muslim, you would be muslim.
How could you believe in Satan but not God? Thats kind of a contradiction in its self. And since when is life defined as "(something) that's able to be killed"? Its pretty funny that repenttrust is the only one in this vid thats staying calm. Sometimes it hurts when your proven wrong. Great video and God bless!
You may wish to consult John Sutherland's experimental finding in Nature just last year. RNA has been synthesized in a lab under conditions which would be plausible on an early Earth. Simply google 'abiogenesis lab confirmation'.
The good person test comes straight out of the school yard. Only a person with a mental capacity of a preschooler could confuse this game of grammar, into absolutes. Its absurd!
Have you ever gone fishing? That makes you a fisherman.
Have you ever tried skating? That makes you a skater.
Have you ever read a book? That makes you a reader.
Have you ever fallen asleep? That means you will sleep forever.
We cant create life in a lab. Well we also cant create lightning in a lab be rubbing clouds together either, but I don't think you deny lightning exists.
In other words you are doing a god of the gaps argument and your only 37 seconds in.
Oh dear, trying to scare people into living lives that make them happy by telling them they'll go to hell. One of the most pathetic religious tactics.
@Kushtopher Ah, Pascal's Wager. So what if you've simply picked the wrong religion and when you die, the god(s) of the 'one true religion' that you did NOT choose condemn you to a hell for failing to believe in them? You present a false dichotomy.
However, it takes a HUGE imagination to believe that there's an omnipotent being that created all life on Earth just by speaking it. Especially when there's absolutely no evidence to support that claim.
Life doesn't come from non-life now, because the entire atmosphere of the Earth is very, very, very different to how it was prior to life. The conditions on Earth now aren't suitable for life to emerge.
All life is, is a series of chemical reactions and electrical impulses. It takes no stretch of the imagination to understand that under the right conditions, chemical reactions and electrical impulses are also capable of producing life, as well as maintaining it...
@Vehementi How do you know that other than someone else telling you that? Also known as "hear say" or a "rumor". So let's review things, I'm worshipping and believing in the one true God and your worshipping and believing in the ideas of scientists you've most likely never met?
You blindly in believe and worship a supernatural entity, for which there is absolutely no evidence yet are unopen to the possibility that you're wrong, whilst I accept rational theories and explanations that can be demonstrably shown to be accurate through EVIDENCE. I am, however, open to the possibility that they are wrong, if evidence can be presented to show that they're wrong.
@Vehementi To my knowledge, athiests have two explanations to the creation of our planet and lifeform. One is that, somewhere down the line, something was created from nothing which is a completely irrational way of thinking in my opinion. The other is that space is infinite, which lead to the "Big Bang" and so on.. BUT for something to be everlasting makes it supernatural. So, in a way, people who believe this, aren't athiests at all. They believe in and worship a god of their own. SPACE
We don't know how the universe started, well, we know how it started as it is now, with the big bang, but "prior" to that, we have no clue, but unlike theists, we don't pretend we have all the answers. We say "We don't know.".
Theists will claim "God created the universe, it says so in the Bible and I know that as a fact.", but they're simply wrong. It's an assertion for which there's no supporting evidence.
@YoungandUnashamed22 They're afraid to say "I don't know.", so instead they settle with the first answer they can find.
The fact is, they don't know, they can't possibly know, because no one does.
But pretending you do know leaves you no reason to try and find out. There are many possibilities (The biblical God most certainly not being one of them.), there could be billions and billions of universes, being born and dying like stars, this universe could be pulsing, expanding then contracting...
@YoungandUnashamed22 ...in a neverending cycle, or most likely, something we haven't considered yet.
But one thing we can be sure of, is that the God of the Bible, as described in the Bible, is far too easy to falsify that there's no way he can even exist, let alone have created the universe.
@Vehementi So, wait, let's review things. You don't have the answers to your own "religion" but you know for a fact my beliefs are false? That sounds a little illogical but regardless, I'm listening.
We can know the biblical God is false the same way we can know that the universe being created when Homer Simpson burped is false - just because we haven't discovered the origin of the universe doesn't mean we haven't falsified a lot of possibilites.
Take, for example, lightning. Many years ago it was believed to be Zeus throwing them to Earth, but we falsified that long before we learned that it's caused by charged particles in the atmosphere.
@YoungandUnashamed22 During the middle ages, we didn't know about electricity, or charged particles, or what really caused lightningm, but we knew it wasn't Zeus. The same can be said of God, as portrayed in the Bible, and the origin of the universe.
However, I'm sure you're aware of the Miller Urey experiment. Those that carried it out admitted that the conditions in the experiment weren't reflective of a pre-biotic Earth. When the test was repeated with conditions more reflective of a pre-biotic Earth, the results were much more supportive of abiogenesis.
Just because we can't explain something currently, doesn't mean filling it in with a God of the gaps is either logical or...
You can't answer it either, and before you say "God is Life" that doesn't count. As I have never seen, heard, or touched God, he is therefor intangible, and is disqualified as an answer.
Besides, Biogenesis is a theory. So, we can't make life from non-life... but 120 years ago, we didn't have powered flight, SURPRISE! Isn't science wonderful?
I'm not saying your faith is bad, just stop trying to force it on people, you don't need to drag them down with you.
the guy who keep acting rude and scream "hail satan" is a douche and make himself look like a clown, never turn away from path of god as hard as it gets the stronger it will make you, good work.
How can you use the Bible as an argument when the topic being debated is the Bible and God? BTW, life came from random groupings of particles from the "primordial ooze"
this video is terrible......How is this a good argument at all? it's not an argument it's just biased beliefs based off of the Bible and for some reason your calling this video a question athiests can't answer this is very illogical. Please any Christian ask me a question.
That is the reason for my earlier statement. "My god USA!!!! What on earth are you doing to you're children. You're turning them into morons."
I'm sorry, but you have been BRAINWASHED.
We live in a natural universe, with natural explanations for the events that take place in it. If you lived somewhere other than the USA, you would have a FAR better chance of NOT holding the views you do.
There is not now, or have ever been evidence of a supernatural occurrence, EVER.
Biogenisis is NOT a law BTW. It is in fact false, quite plainly.
On the one hand, one has Abiogenisis, on the other magic man miraculously "poofed" everything into existence.
And you can quite seriously, in all candour say that you go along with the latter? (rhetorical BTW). I know that you have somehow managed to convince yourself (or rather been convinced) that a deity is the better explanation.
My god USA!!!! What on earth are you doing to you're children. You're turning them into morons.
Sounds to me like someone's been listening to the two cretins Comfort and Cameron.
He seems to have quite some faith in the bible. I wonder if he's actually studied the historicity, of the book and jesus? I somehow doubt it very much.
lol fail in the first 40 seconds: the law of abiogenisis states: life can only come from life.
FAIL
no it doesn't it doesn't at all. first there is no law of abiogenisis because it isn't a mathimatical theory therefore it can't be a law. secondly the THEORY tries to explain how life came from NON-life not from life itself.
evolution explaisn how different life forms came from life ( or if you like how life came from life)
Even if atheists conceded every point to religies, they still have to answer the same question, with even more ridiculous assertions. Let me elaborate:
Atheist: We don't know exactly how the universe began or where it came from
VS
God has forever been present and omnipotent AND is the precise god I happen to worship AND it created the universe as we know it.
@hpholland "AND it created the universe as" it is discribed in the bible and God made it look like it isn't at all formed and doesn't look at all as described in the bible to test our faith :-)
2) Just because we can't do something in the lab (yet) doesn't mean that we'll never be able to do it, or that it's impossible, or that it never happened.
3) "Accident" is an incorrect way to describe the origin of life, and shows that you have an incomplete understanding of the concepts involved. A better way would be "chemistry."
4) You have mis-stated the law of biogenesis. Look it up.
I could continue, but I'm just about out of characters...
@connorkimbro Actually it may be perfectly reasonable to assume that the initial event that produced life could be something like an accident. Evolution though is definitely deterministic.
RNA is a complex self-replicating molecule. In fact some virusses have RNA and no DNA. Virusses are also in a twilight zone between life and non-life, showing there indeed is a grey area inbetween where one transits intot he other.
In addition, life via DNA (a molecule that is related to RNA in certain ways) at it's most basic level is also complex self-replicating molecules.
And that's really only the tip of a huge amount of biological and biochemical knowledge about the subject.
@Repenttrust - I notice that when religious people lose an argument, they redefine terms. When an entirely artificial lifeform is created in a lab, you will say, "That's not life. God didn't create it."
That biker is an arse, i still dont agree with Christianity, it contradicts its self a lot, And there is no proof of any existance of any god. Sure you have books, but anyone could write those, you could be worshipping a drunks very creative story. Where as there is a lot of scientific proof of life evolving an what not, The universe is very large and the amount of atoms is limited, and they are constantly being smashed together, all it takes is time for the right combo of atoms to occur.
spiderstrider96 1 week ago
@spiderstrider96 no it doesn't!
you forget that without a God atoms would not be real, nothing woud be real! everything we see and do not see is created By God,
sh9683 5 days ago
@sh9683 Wheres your proof, I could believe in a flying spaghetti monster who created weed got high and say he created everything, but i have no proof of this. And before you say the bible is proof no, it isnt, a book can be written by anyone.
spiderstrider96 5 days ago
@spiderstrider96 well the fact he has answered many prayers, the fact my mom survived a drop that would normally kill someone and she left with only two broken wrists is all evidence he is real.
your an idiot if you believe in the spagetti monster what prayer did he answer? did he save your soul? did he save someone from cancer? no.
GOD HAS! your just too blind to see that! btw the bible wasn't written by just anyone and has the most scripts to back up its validity then any other historicalnote
sh9683 5 days ago
@spiderstrider96 i suppose you do not believe in wind? you can't see it! i can't see it, no one can see it! so why do we believe there is sucha thing as wind? because we see its effects! a blind man would not see its effect so maybe to him wind is illogical and as sci fi as a "flying spagetty monster". doesn't make wind a make belief!
same with God you blind people do not see his goodness, though it is everywhere, you are blind! that is why you do not see his actions!
people with sight do
sh9683 5 days ago
@sh9683 Wind is a change of pressure you cannot see a force and there is evidence for this force, scientific evidence. I'am yet to see one shred of credible evidence of any supernatural being which can be classed as "God". And your mother may have survived a fatal drop but things like that are mathematical chances and they occur often due to the amount of people there are. Yet again the bible isn't evidence it doesn't prove existence of anything, only that people can be creative and organized.
spiderstrider96 4 days ago
@sh9683 Plus ive never heard of god saving anyone from cancer, or answering anyone's prayers. Sure anyone can answer anyone's prayers, doesn't make them magical creatures that can Produce things out of nothing. Also i see no proof of souls. I'd much rather believe in a flying spaghetti monster rather than "God".

Good day.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
atheist arguments always sound rock solid initally but they always seem to fall apart when confronted with the same science they try to use to deny God.
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar Here's the thing: Atheists do not "deny" God; we just don't believe in one. We can't deny something that doesn't appear to exist to us. There aren't too many "atheist arguments" except that there is currently no objective evidence that a God exists, which is true. I'm an atheist but I'll fully admit that I don't know how we came to be and there are many things I don't know or understand. But I will not just answer everything I don't know with "God did it!"
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@QueenAnime99 - whose fault is it you keep dropping your thinking hat? the evidence is pretty overwhelming that the ' God did it' theory is correct - can the sun create itself? can the moon do it? can matter create itself ? the more we know the less we know. Good and evil is there for all to see..no amount of atheist babble can satisfy
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar There is zero OBJECTIVE evidence that a god, let alone your specific God, exists. I don't know how things came to be, but simply saying "God did it" is not the way to find out. We need to establish that a god actually exists first. All I was trying to do was educate you about atheism, but I guess you just want to argue with me & insult me. Great Christian behavior, there. Unless you want to have a civilized discussion with me about atheism, I'm done. Good day and good life.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@QueenAnime99 ha ha - a sensitive atheist - I guess there's a first for eveything -in any case - you want your little atheist god to come down so you can get out your ruler and measuring tape - it aint gonna happen my sensitive atheist comrade . ' God did it ' is still a better option than 'chance did it' . please have a glass of milk
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar I'm not sensitive, but I like respectful behavior. And there are a lot of atheists out there like me. Honestly, I don't know whether a god'll ever show itself or not. Again, my point was simply to explain the atheist viewpoint. "God did it" is not a better option than "We don't know." If humans truly want to learn more about the world, we need to admit that we don't know everything. I don't know what you mean by "Have a glass of milk" but whatever. Good day and good life.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@QueenAnime99 whose fault is it that your presupposition is to wipe the creator from the equation - of course if you presuppose that there is no maker of a bridge - you'll always keep looking for the cause of the bridge and that's where you enter the atheist merry go round. In the end faith must go where logic can go no further. The Bible claims to have the answer - at least be open minded for crying out loud. repeating to yourself atheist dogma is not going to make God go away .glass of milk
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar Instead of making assumptions about what I think, you should be asking me questions. Especially when you don't understand atheism. "I don't know" doesn't mean I'm trying to wipe a creator from the equation. "I don't know" literally means "I don't know." And if I'm saying "I don't know," I'm obviously open-minded. I don't know if you realize it, but your religion isn't the only one saying that it's correct. If you want to learn more about atheism, please PM me. Thanks and good day.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@QueenAnime99 - ha ha - you are open minded and yet want to teach me about atheism - I spend a lot of time in atheist camps - it just helps to strengthen my faith - I suggest you fill that 'open mind' with the teachings of the bible and examine the evidence. stop being so profoundly illogical.
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar You don't appear to understand what atheism is if you think it's weird that one can be atheist & open-minded. My intentions are not to challenge your faith, but I did take issue with your comment about atheist arguments always "falling apart" b/c we don't have too many arguments in the 1st place & most are impossible to tear apart b/c most just state "I don't know." And saying "I don't know" is never illogical. If you have questions about atheism, PM me. If not, don't. Good day.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@whiteliketar By the way, if you have any objective evidence that your God exists, feel free to send it to me. But the Bible is not enough. Most every religion has a religious book that says it's correct. By the way, as you know, faith is illogical. So, think about that before telling me to "stop being illogical" because not only are you insulting yourself but you're being uncivilized and it reflects badly on you. Act more Christ-like if you're going to call yourself a Christian. Thanks.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@QueenAnime99 - ha ha - an atheist lecturing me on being Christlike - that's like a savage giving a lecture on the travails of eating human flesh - Who says the Bible is not enough> you?! why should anyone believe atheist comments about the Bible? are you sure that every religion says its correct - Bhuddism is not a religion - just thought you might not know - Hinduism and the Bahais are pretty open - judaism dosen't really care? do u even know what u are talking about? think before u type-pls
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar Look, if you aren't going to be Christ-like for other people, at least do it for Jesus. LOL. The point I was trying to make is that your Bible is not enough when it comes to objective evidence. That's it. The reason I brought up other religions (Buddhism is a religion & a philosophy, btw) is b/c you were trying to imply that I'm illogical/not open-minded just b/c I don't share your particular beliefs. When you say that, you imply that non-Christian theists are the same way. Get it?
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@whiteliketar, My biggest issue I'm having is that you are making a LOT of assumptions about me & what I believe simply b/c I identify as atheist. I am open-minded & logical & you would understand me better if you made an effort to get to know me instead of comparing me with atheists you know & your idea of atheism. If you have questions about atheism and/or what I personally believe, you can PM. It's hard to fully explain myself in the short amount of space on YT videos. Good day.
QueenAnime99 4 months ago
@QueenAnime99 ha ha - you are just a baby atheist - at least listen to the debates between lennox and dawkins and harris vs shermer and hitchens vs desouza and educate yourself a bit more - i suspect you are regurgitating some atheist dogma that tickles your little unbelieving sou. lol

@whiteliketar Hello. I'm not going to read this post (or any further posts from you) unless you send it to me via a PM. Like I hinted at in one of my most recent posts, I can't continue this discussion in the comments section because there is not enough space to fully explain myself.
PS. Sideshow should host.

Life from non-life? Easy answer! eg. "Earth".
wrjamescom 10 months ago
@wrjamescom I know what your trying to say, but its not scientifically proven that we came from earth we could of came from meteorites... Thea... etc
nightname6 9 months ago
@nightname6 Yes it is. Earth itself came from stellar debris. Elements heavier than helium are formed inside stars by nuclear fusion. elements heavier than iron come only from large starts which reach supernova stage. Had it not been for such events long before earth formed, earth could only be a ball of hydrogen with a little helium. We could not exist. But that's a step beyond my point, which is that life comes from non-life.
wrjamescom 9 months ago
@nightname6 I get your point, that earth could have been seeded by asteroids or comets, but that's a fairly large stretch, and even if so, it came from non-life there. Even the weird idea of space aliens seeding earth encounters the same arguments. if earth was seeded by space aliens, they'd have likely picked earth because it already had life, thus free O2, for their experiments. And even if not, the aliens' would have come from non-life originally. Blaming supernatural is illogical.
wrjamescom 9 months ago
And for the statement about mass extinction not having genetic proof, couldn't you make the same argument about the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction. Even if there was genetic proof of this, you could still make the argument of it being caused by a Great Flood. As a sidenote I'd like to say, I appreciate you keeping this a conversation and not an argument like I've had in the past on this topic. I look forward to your reply
YoungandUnashamed22 1 year ago
But none of that is fact. It's just your opinion, which your entitled to. But you claimed you could falsify my beliefs. All you've done is stated religious groups have been wrong in the past, in the same way that scientists have been wrong in the past. It was "fact" that earth was flat 500 years ago. We all know how that turned out
YoungandUnashamed22 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 Firstly, Pythagoras was the first to suggest a spherical Earth ~600BC, and Erastothanes was the first to prove it ~200BC by comparing shadows at the same time of day in different parts of the world (Greece and Alexandria.).
We can falsify the Biblical God by falsifying the claims made in the Bible, for example, a global flood didn't happen. If it did happen we would see a layer of sediment depicting a flood (A layer with a gradient from smal to large particles.) that...
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 that... spans the entire globe. This layer of sediment would stick out like a sore thumb, it would litterally be very, very irrational to say "There was no global flood." if this layer were there. But equally, it would also be very, very irrational to say that there was a flood if this layer couldn't be found. The fact is, if there was a global flood, then this layer WOULD be there, and it would be impossible to miss.
You see? We already have one instance where the Bible...
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 Bible... disagrees with the facts. That's justo ne piece of evidence against the flood as a possibility, there's also evidence in genetics (Such a mass extinction would also stick out like a sore thumb, in the genome of everything alive today.), paleontology (The same flood layer described earlier would have a very high concentration of fossils.), andm uch more.
This is just a single innacuracy in the Bible, there's lots more, and considering it's the only thing...
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 only thing... that even suggests the existence of a God, with so many things that are just plain wrong, and no external evidence to support God's existence, even as a hypothesis, there's absolutely no rational reason to believe in God.
Hence "Faith" - beief in somethng for which there is no evidence, gullibility masquerading as a virtue.

Vehementi 1 year ago
@Vehementi Sorry I have been working late the last few days and haven't had much free time. Yeah this is true but just because the masses see things as in one area doesn't mean it's recognized as fact in others. I was referring to Europe in 1492 when Christopher Columbus was preparing to set sail. I know that is debatable but my point is scientists aren't 100% accurate. As far as the great flood, there is geological proof of it. That proof is in the form of layers of strata in every corner of..
YoungandUnashamed22 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 Scientists will never be 100% accurate, because absolute certainty is unscientific, what we can be, though, is be certain beyond any reasonable doubt.
If the creationists were right in saying that the layers of rock and fossils supported a flood, they'd be wrong, nowhere in the entire geological column is there evidence of a global flood.
If there was, we'd see a single layer - not multiple layers, that was a gradient from small to large particles. Instead...
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 instead... what we see is lots of layers, all getting progressively older the deeper down you go, with no single flood gradient spanning the whole globe.
What would we see in terms of fossils? We'd see one layer (The same layer with the gradient.), filled with fossils of all kinds of species.
Instead, what we see is fossils spread more or less evenly through all of history, going from primitive in older layers to newer. For example, we have at the lowest depths...
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 depths... the fossils of simple pre-cambrian species, as we go up the gologiical column we see more complex fossils, arthropods, fish, etc. Keep going up and we see amphibians arising in the sediment, like that of Tiktaalik Rosae. Progressing further up the column we see the first reptiles then dinosaurs and mammals. We never find amphibians during the cambrian, we never see mammals buried amongst the first, primitive amphibians.
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 The problem with what creationists believe is it's nonsense. Where are the papers on the global flood? Where's the peer review? Why aren't they out there digging up evidence of this flood and recording their finds for other paleogeologists to examine?
Real science progresses through hard, vigorous experimentation, not the religion-fuelled babblings of a priest or fraudster.

To claim you KNOW that god did it is arrogant

I have to apologize for this so called Atheist that is portrayed in this video. That is not what Atheism is all about, at least to most Atheists. I am an Atheist, but it is not at all because I hate your God, or people who believe in higher beings. In fact, if someone were to give me irrefutable proof of a God, I would have no trouble believing, but I just think that right now, my experiences with science and logic lead me to believe otherwise.
Cheers,

The law of biogenesis is thought to be exempt for microbial organisms. It exists to dispel the ancient greek notion that animals or humans could be created from rocks by gods.
Similarly, if there was a god who created the first organism, then, by your version of the law of biogenesis, god is also a living being, meaning that god has a life span, thus disproving the christian notion that god is immortal. I'm just using your logic here.

However, it takes a HUGE imagination to believe that there's an omnipotent being that created all life on Earth just by speaking it. Especially when there's absolutely no evidence to support that claim.
"Abracadabra!"
Vehementi 2 years ago
Life doesn't come from non-life now, because the entire atmosphere of the Earth is very, very, very different to how it was prior to life. The conditions on Earth now aren't suitable for life to emerge.
All life is, is a series of chemical reactions and electrical impulses. It takes no stretch of the imagination to understand that under the right conditions, chemical reactions and electrical impulses are also capable of producing life, as well as maintaining it...
Vehementi 2 years ago
@Vehementi How do you know that other than someone else telling you that? Also known as "hear say" or a "rumor". So let's review things, I'm worshipping and believing in the one true God and your worshipping and believing in the ideas of scientists you've most likely never met?
YoungandUnashamed22 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 You've reviewed things wrong.
Vehementi 1 year ago
@Vehementi To my knowledge, athiests have two explanations to the creation of our planet and lifeform. One is that, somewhere down the line, something was created from nothing which is a completely irrational way of thinking in my opinion. The other is that space is infinite, which lead to the "Big Bang" and so on.. BUT for something to be everlasting makes it supernatural. So, in a way, people who believe this, aren't athiests at all. They believe in and worship a god of their own. SPACE
YoungandUnashamed22 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 Sorry, but your knowledge is flawed.
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 They're afraid to say "I don't know.", so instead they settle with the first answer they can find.
The fact is, they don't know, they can't possibly know, because no one does.
But pretending you do know leaves you no reason to try and find out. There are many possibilities (The biblical God most certainly not being one of them.), there could be billions and billions of universes, being born and dying like stars, this universe could be pulsing, expanding then contracting...
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 ...in a neverending cycle, or most likely, something we haven't considered yet.
But one thing we can be sure of, is that the God of the Bible, as described in the Bible, is far too easy to falsify that there's no way he can even exist, let alone have created the universe.
Vehementi 1 year ago
@Vehementi So, wait, let's review things. You don't have the answers to your own "religion" but you know for a fact my beliefs are false? That sounds a little illogical but regardless, I'm listening.
YoungandUnashamed22 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 I don't follow a religion.
Vehementi 1 year ago
@YoungandUnashamed22 During the middle ages, we didn't know about electricity, or charged particles, or what really caused lightningm, but we knew it wasn't Zeus. The same can be said of God, as portrayed in the Bible, and the origin of the universe.
Vehementi 1 year ago
"Can you give me an example..."
A specific species? No.
Vehementi 2 years ago
...rational.
It's far more intellectually mature to say "I don't know." and then attempt to find out, than it is to say "Goddidit!".
The second experiment, by the way, also produced one of the nucleotides found in DNA. I think it was thymine, but don't quote me on that.
Vehementi 2 years ago
That quote claiming that anyone who rejects God cannot do good is absurd.
Mahatma Gandhi, anyone?
If Christianity is true, he's now suffering for all eternity in Hell.
According to your beliefs, Gandhi is in Hell. Think about that one for a moment.

ABIOGENISIS is the answer to your question.
I know that you have somehow managed to convince yourself (or rather been convinced) that a deity is the better explanation.

no it doesn't it doesn't at all. first there is no law of abiogenisis because it isn't a mathimatical theory therefore it can't be a law. secondly the THEORY tries to explain how life came from NON-life not from life itself.

God has forever been present and omnipotent AND is the precise god I happen to worship AND it created the universe as we know it.

1) We don't know everything, and that's OK.

RNA is not life
Repenttrust 2 years ago
RNA is a complex self-replicating molecule. In fact some virusses have RNA and no DNA. Virusses are also in a twilight zone between life and non-life, showing there indeed is a grey area inbetween where one transits intot he other.
In addition, life via DNA (a molecule that is related to RNA in certain ways) at it's most basic level is also complex self-replicating molecules.
And that's really only the tip of a huge amount of biological and biochemical knowledge about the subject.
Shavarnarak 2 years ago
Very close-minded of you.
Is an RNA virus not life then?
hpholland 2 years ago 3
@Repenttrust - I notice that when religious people lose an argument, they redefine terms. When an entirely artificial lifeform is created in a lab, you will say, "That's not life. God didn't create it."
