HI. I have search your tutorials and I have not found an answer. I have a wave file that I would like to lay a guitar track over, I can record the guitar track but cannot listen to the already created track and record at the same time??

How do I layer my traCKS and listen to already recorded tracks at the same time??

Hi harmfulpig. This a limitation of this version of the software. In the new software due out in 2 days you will be access the mixing screen and click play as well as the record screen. Check out our site on saturday. The new version should be up and running.

Ok...hehehehe....well will there be a charge for the new software....furthermore, is it possible to transfer the "soon to be" old version of trakaxpc saved files to the new software's format?? just curious

Hi harmfulpig. There will be a charge for some features like HD mp4 and titles and credits but once this features are finished in the 30 day free trial, the application will revert to free mode which includes far more feature that are currently available including the record issue you are currently experiencing. ALso, mixes created in old version will open in the new version. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions. Give me a shout. Best regards CB

To cut a video, double click on it to bring it into the trakkutter. It can only cut wmv's and avi's. Hold down the shift key on keyboard and then move your mouse. This will create a selection. you can adjust the size of the selection box. When you created your selection, right click on the selection video and select copy and then go the mixing screen and select paste. You have now edited your video in the trakkutter,.

how do i save and record my own voice.. how would i screw and chop it?...

Connnect you mic or webcam. Click on the record button in the top toolbar. You will be brought into the record window. Record your voice. It will saved as a file. Bring that file in the trakkutter. In here you can edit and sample it by making a selection. Copy and paste it into the mixing screen. Here you can slow it down and change the pitch. There is a video on youtube on the recording function if you need more help and there is an videos available at trakax(dot)com and an active forum.

can i saperate (hope you understand what i mean, my english isnt that good) the two lines that are in 1 song. like you, 1 on the top site, 1 on the down side. ive some song that have 1 for music and 1 for the vocals. can i saperate those two?

Highlight the segment with you mouse and then hit the delete key on your keyboard or right click on the track and select delete track..
