I do agree, the squeaking of the guitar IS kind of annoying to the ear. I could have done a better version with less squeakies, but I threw it in on youtube anyway...

Nevertheless, it's a nice song to play and sing to :)

i actually rather enjoy the guitar squeaking. its a natural guitar sound, and sounds beautiful with reverb. but if you wish to diminish it, get flat wound strings. other than that, a very nice cover; and how both drugs and music can effect a person very similarly.. they both can weigh very heavy on a fragile person. perhaps that's the point

The song is decent and I enjoyed your melody and lyrics. However, I really do think the guitar on this one needs work. The sliding between each chord is very distracting.
