  • This is a college level lecture? Oh, wait, I see it's aimed at a 'special' audience - politicians! :)

  • Good professor....at least seems like it to me. When I was in college, this kind of stuff bore me but this guy looks like he's very good at teaching and is enthusiastic about it. He's also very good at explaining hard concepts easily and quickly, allowing you to consume it without being overwhelmed. Good job.

  • Im still in high school and have a chem test tommorow, this kinda helped but interesting none the less :). thank you

  • I'm afraid I have no idea. I recommend the enquiring at the forums on the physforum website. Google: physforum, to find it. They have a large user base and there will likely be someone there with relevant expertise.

  • E=mc2, test this speech to what Einstein formulated. Energy = the mass of the Atom multiplied by the speed of light. 670,616,629mph, Multiplied x 670,616,629 mph = 4.49726663 × 10/17 mph. The Atoms must hit at the speed of light to acquire critical mass. Nothing can move faster the the speed of light. So if the particles hit at the same time at the, c= constant speed of light 4.49726663 × 10/17 , you get E=mc2.

  • hahaha, you put Half Life as a tag :)

  • Idiot

  • you can find the complete course at ?v=5BHdsjo-NR4

  • Oh Yeh, thankyou very much for these lectures! Very important resource for us all, Ta!

  • What in the name of science are you talking about?

  • wat

  • Oh i have to agree theres nothing better then the life that came from the big bang, it should throw the bibble belt into shock and horror, Imagin the voice of creation fucking itself so life can exist,

  • thx for posting this class man

  • My pleasure, there are more on relativity and the big bang on my channel.

  • Saw them all, thx again. Are you taking that class?

  • Sadly no, I found them a while ago during some searches on google video (link to them in description box). I haven't taken a science class since school, but I've learned much more since then.

  • You'll never stop learning about science, it's unbelievable, even if major in physics. Always a new question.

  • Indeed. I can't wait to hear about the new discoveries to come from the experiments with the Large Hadron Collider, and the LISA satellite array. Surely such things will present questions we can't imagine yet. I think learning these kind of things about the universe is at least as much a trancendent feeling as a those that are experienced in spiritual or religious revelations.

  • I live in Perth, Western Australia, and are so excited to be in the running for (part of)the "killa" array that's hoping to find life OUT THERE....!( or is it looking for gravity waves?) Whatever it's looking for we want it to look at! YEH: Go Science!!

  • U-235 has a half-life of around 4,500,000,000 years.

  • That's U-238, U-235 has a half life of about 704 million years.

  • Right, the 5 was a typo.

  • I like those lectures a lot... post more topics... very easy to understand compared to reading up...

  • I've seen most of these lectures, but I obviously missed this one!

    Thanks for this vid!

  • Great stuff. Thanks for posting it.
