nce nce nce!! haha!you've inspired me sir! by the way.is 3 gb of RAM and Dual core 3.2 ghz can handle 8 ins like m audio fast track and m audio keystation!
Just wondering if our AT2020 is connected to the computer, or is it connect to the Mbox fast track? Also can you connect the AT2020 to a audio interface, or can it only be connected to the computer via usb?
@veng98 the AT2020 i have runs XLR to my fast track, I don't have the USB version of that mic, with the USB version you would have to connect through your computer
@MrMusic95 never done that myself, i'm sure the homemade cables are super reliable I will have to look into that. Do you just buy lengths of cable and solder the ends on? Or do you make the actual cable aswell?
@RadAdMusic i buy the cables and solder the ends on. You can of course buy good cables and ends, but if you want to buy a ''good'' cable from the store, they're often quite expensive. I didn't think about making own cables before we did it in our school! :) (i'm studying sound engineering)
Nice set-up. All I do is record live - I have recently added a mixer with usb so I will have to get some software and try to do a home studio recording someday. Cheers
@Satchelabc123 cool man, what mixer? those usb mixers are sweet some of them u can even use ur sliders on the mixer to change to mixer in your DAW, so its kinda like analog mixing not soo much mouse and keyboard

@YdnaziR02 yea you should be fine, processor should be powerful enough, 3 gb or ram will run the software and probably a couple VSTs or effects

i do not agree with you in buying good cables...make them youself and then they're good and long lasting!
