This may not be factual, BUT is this video cause for all these racist, evil comments!!!!???? All u racist ASSHOLES make me SICK!!!!!! I dont think my "black race" is superior to any other, and neither is latinos, asians, indians, or whites. We can disagree, but it should NOT turn viscious and hateful!

@JOSUE1987 I guess the oppression that the european monkeys brought to Mexico is okay. You need to get a clue about who is your true enemy is. Colonialism ruined many people of color.
@JOSUE1987 Since you were born in 1987 I sure you don't know how to wipe your own butt correctly. When you sit down and intelligently study colonialism you get back at me. Currently you can even begin to enter the conversation. Moron a city in E Argentina, SW of Buenos Aires.309,400. Yes, yes I do know everything! What an amatuer!
UNESCO has already written that the Olmecs are of African origins along with the Asians....Some link? Too bad you can’t point to ANYTHING B.C. in their ancestor’s lands, only mud huds, no writing, no mathematics, concept zero, theology, and other things that didn’t exist anywhere in Africa, but they brought it to us anyway, somehow, but didn’t. LOL. that’s why they are trying to steal our heritage, our pride. Kennewick Man is bantu! stop using drugs.
he says , the people , africamexhican Goo TO usa AND got a new religions , and dont sersh your Only originality Culture , and the imigration people Doit this wan come back dare to costa chica, ( i tinck he neads study more About the Africa culturees and others Like hees Culture Mexhica , tolteca , Maya etc and Reunite this to Bicouse all the culteres are Goo THE Same Ways
So let’s move on to the Egyptians, who Afroncentrics claim as part of their heritage, afrocentric racists, thinking that they are superior to us, are forcing a discussion on our rights to our heritage by claiming our civilizationS as an African civilization. This is like the white supremacist discussion on our rights to our lands, "Kennewick Man" that has been documented to have no basis of European origins.
GOOGLE PICTURE: "Ancient Maya Mural at San Bartolo"
Kennewick Man was consider to be an ANU. The ANU people originated in Central and South AFRICA and are known as the TWA and are the Oldest and the first all all people on the planet.
For us on our continent we had Supe/Caral (3500 B.C.), Olmec (2500-1800 B.C. beginnings), Zapotec (600 B.C.), Maya (600 B.C.), Teotihuacan (100 B.C). There is ZERO evidence of anything even remotely resembling our civilizations in Africa in B.C times, there were NO CIVILIZATIONS in west-central-south Africa in B.C times, only poor cultures.
The triumph of the monogenetic thesis of humanity (Leaky), stated even at the stage of Homo sapiens, compels one to admit that all races descended from the BLACK RACE.....

African Origins of Civilization, page XV, Chiekh Anta Diop
In the inscriptions relative to the campaigns of Pepi I, Negroes are represented as immediately adjoining the Egyptian frontier. This seems to perplex some authors. They had always been there. This was the Old Race of predynastic Egypt--the primitive Cushite type. This was the aboriginal race of Abyssinia. It was symbolized by the Great Sphinx and the marvelous face of Cheops.

@SUPERIORcarbonL1L2L3 Professor carbon! If West Africans were so great to have taught us civilization, where in west or central or south Africa did they do such great things as our civilizations in B.C. times? There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in B.C. times of any civilization in those areas. Only some poor rocky promontories of the Tichitt-Walata and Tagant cliffs of Southern Mauritania between ca. 2000 and 700 B..C. (beaver can build a better structure)
@exupipus purchase this book at borders called the african presence before columbus by ivan van sertima oh yea wat continent is egypt in africa right so yea now u tell me about civilization as a matter of fact the olmecs came from west africa they inspired the myan and aztec civilization look up the olmec heads on here the face represents a nigga yea it pisses people off too that didnt kno their history that they was a black man before the spaniards which was white people took ova

Although these speculations have become somewhat well-known within popular culture, particularly the idea of an African connection to the Olmec, they are not considered credible by the vast majority of Mesoamerican researchers. Again, it is extremely misleading to use the testimony of artistic representations to prove ethnic theories. The Olmec were American Indians, not Negroes (as Melgar had thought) or Nordic supermen.
You can start with Timbuktu, Mali, Mansa Musa, Zulu, Ptah, Anu, Twa, Hottenots, Morroco, Atlas Mountains... shall I continue? You do know that Egypt is named after the TWA-PTAH....

@exupipus - No one is interested in your videos... This is why we are documenting our history now... Go rally behind the videos you want everyone to see. But before you go... that video states the people of America came from Asia... - .- Well the first people of Asia were also BLACK. NA KHI CIVILIZATION OF SOUTHWEST CHINA.(NA= BLACK) - (KHI=PEOPLE) _ -. NA KHI - reverse KHI NA= CHINA. - no matter how you try to spin it.... BLACK are to original people off all landmass.
@SUPERIORcarbonL1L2L3 No one is interested in your videos... This is why we are documenting our history now...My videos from: INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico) you? Mumbo Jumbo "afrocentric video nuts" This is getting ridiculous. Nobody believes the lies of the black history: Legends' mean 'stories'. That means that it possibly is not true. Like your stupid claim that the olmecs were blacks. Show me INAH information supporting your information.
Dr. Andrzej Wiercinski, craniologis and head of the Anthropology Departmen at Warsaw University, after an analysis of skeletosn at various OLMEC sites, wrote ''Skeletal remains from these sites make it clear that African or Black people made up a considerable segment of the OLMEC population''....These Blacks have various facial characteristics and hair types. OLMECS writing has been identified as possibly having African origins.
The African/Black figures in clay and stone have been unearthed in Coasta Rica, western Guatemala and the La Venta area......, etc bother books survived after Franciscan Diego de Landa ordered the burning of almost all of the NAGAYAM BOOKS. The image of a BLACK CHILD with KINKY hair was inscribed on a ceramic sculpture dating to approximately 250AD

@SUPERIORcarbonL1L2L3 who is? William Marder? a Polish university?lol. Why? INAH or UNAM (Mexican university Number 44 Ranking of World Universities in 2009) not issue a statement like this? because
is false or insufficient evidence. You can look at Moche paintings and assume people from outer space came, by the strange figures on the vases. You can look at Nasca earth drawings in the desert and also assume outer space because you can only see those images from the sky.
(CONT.)..."As a work of art, it is, without exaggeration, a magnificent sculpture...but what most amazed me was that the type that it represents is ETHIOPIAN. I concluded that there had doubtless been BLACKS in this region, and from THE VERY EARLIEST AGES OF THE WORLD."

So, maybe you need to contact Dr. Nieves of the University of San Pablo and tell him that... right? How did the 10,000 years old Negro remain end up under rock sediment in South America?
Yes MANDE-speaking Africans known as the OLMECS which the University of San Pablo under the directions of Dr. Nieves has determined that the oldest remains of the Americas were of 10,000 years old NEGRO-Spanish for Black.
-
Dark in Spanish is ''USCURO'', notice no-one is speaking about dark people
You better read ORIGEN DE LOS INDIOS DE EL NEUVO MUNDO E LINDIAS OCCIDENTALES. This novel documents the presents of NEGRO-Spanish for Blacks in the Americas before Columbus.

We come from the beginning of the Nile at the foothill of the Mountain of the Moon where GOD HAPI dwells... Remember HAPI-BES-ANU-TWA= PTAH the sub-saharan bantu-pgymies of Africa
Ethiops- is Greek for Black, and Negro is Spanish for Black, Nigrum in Latin is Black, and Negro in Ancient Egyptain is NGR which means GOD... Your are OSCURO which means dark in Spanish remember
"The Ethiopians," says Lucian, page 985, "were the first who invented the science of the stars, and gave names to the planets, not at random and without meaning, but descriptive of the qualities which they conceived them to possess; and it was from them that this art passed, still in an imperfect state, to the Egyptians."
Remember.., my little Khazar-devil, I am talking about DR. WIERCINSKI research about the West Sub-Saharan African that he calls OLMECS. See how much power I have over you...., every night you think about BLACKS. Its the only channels you seem to visit. You cannot stop this movement.
Dr. Wiercinski (1972) claims that the some of the Olmecs were of African origin. He supports this claim with skeletal evidence from several Olmec sites where he found skeletons that were analogous to the West African type black.
I'm hoping the old texts of africa?I forgot they had no writing...well Herodotus sits in his Book I-181: "Berosus, which was an early historian Babylonian priest says: The earliest inhabitants were foreigners Babilionia of another race, this race brought civilization to Mesopotamia. Oannes They were called Hoa-ana, which Ha Mayan language means water, and Na, house, ie those who came by boat.
Blacks have wide noses, kinky hair, black skin, high waist-to-hip ratios, prognathic jaws, long arms, and soulless, vacant eyes. The cephalic index in African is 71.5 the lowes and 76.9 the highest, depending on the tribal group...lol
From this fact Herodotus was convinced that Hercules was truly a Tyrian, or Negro god, who was also the god of the Egyptians, the Ethiopians, and Libyans, as well as of ancient Babylon, of which empire Nimrod was the founder, although it passed into other hands in process of time.
Yxtliton, or Ixtlilton that is to say, 'the little NEGRO," according to Sahagun, and 'the black-faced" according to Clavigero was a god who cured children of various diseases.(p. 409)

An investigation by the U.S. Sylvanus G. Morley made on the Yucatec Maya population showed that the average height of 154.61 cm and 142.65 cm, weight 52.86 kg and 50 kg and the cephalic index is around 85.8 and 86.8 for men and women with lower cephalic index.
According to archaeological evidence (study of the monuments and art of antiquity) and ethnography (the study, description and classification of races or peoples),
it follows that the Maya have the broad-headed (brachycephalic), an aquiline nose, black hair and straight, high cheekbones, wide forehead (wide and flat) and almond eyes (with a pronounced and noticeable crease in the eyelid that gives them a distinctly oriental touch) dark. The neck is short and the shoulders are wide.
Indians had the Vedas and the Upanishads, Chinese had Confucianism, Europeans had Virgil, Horace, plato, Aztecs had a corpus of literature which was, unfortunately, burnt and destroyed by the Spanish invaders or Popol vuh "maya", Shintoism was developed in Japan, the epic of Gilgamesh was recorded in ancient Babylonian times, and Egypt authored the Book of the Dead...Only black Africa (and assorted primitives in australasia) hadn’t recorded or created any official religion or philosophy.cool!
"The learned Maurice says, "Cuthites, i. e. Celts, built the great temples in India and Britain, and excavated the caves of the former."* And the learned Mathematician, Reuben Burrow, has no hesitation in pronouncing Stonehenge to be a temple of the black, curly-headed Buddha."
@SUPERIORcarbonL1L2L3 Now please tell us about the ancient books or written of sub-Saharan africa!!! any religion or philosopher? any domesticated animal?
With a 'history' like that, no wonder they try to hide it
Today it is questionable what Blacks could achieve on their own, without the intervention of others giving to them all the things they could never produce or maintain themselves. That's the truth watch?v=cm8njGfsV6A
AFRICAN or rather NUBIAN origins...Bantu blacks "just like you", they had no written language, no wheel, no domesticated animals, no metals,
Virtually every other non-black group came up with an admirable or at least interesting religion or philosophy which was recorded and taught to a priesthood nothing. Blacks still rely on voodoo, witchcraft, black magic, and animism with no particular pantheon of Gods, no priesthood, no anything that could develop them past superstition...
Chama style...Maya, body painting has a meaning, decorative and magical, the "black" they used: war, fasting or penance, blue was used for sacrifices, very common in priests, other colors are to identify lineage or hierarchy...

@SUPERIORcarbonL1L2L3 Similarly, the hieroglyphic inscriptions in stone and stucco adorn the main buildings express warlike acts increased significantly in the Classic, some sites such as Yaxchilan, Bonampak and Toniná shown in the reliefs and inscriptions, many scenes of war, AGAIN: the warriors who painted their bodies "black" and her hair arranged to achieve a frightful appearance, were called holcattes.

Remember Black people have white under their feet and hands just like the Black king in Chama style who has a low cut Afro and prognastic jaw. Remember Negro in Spanish is Black.

You will find them at the bottom of all social structure in any country that they were taken. They are the last the hated the outcast. Niger Coon etc.
@phattracs Wow...that experienced the conclusions and prejudices at the root of their oppression, yoo re-interprets and critiques core western religious and philosophical constructs, including those that are central to much of the modern African-American religious experience. @exupipus Abrauws, Hebrews not Africans. By the way you go read what I said again. I know that you heard what I said. Your Collusion is the fuel of the confusion of the black Diaspora.
''CHAMA STYLE'''...Watch their feet, Mayas, they painted their bodies in different colors: black, white, blue, red, yellow, jaguar skin, to scare enemies. ''OLMECS'''... Genetic and immunological studies over the past two decades have failed to yield evidence of precolumbian African contributions to the indigenous populations of the Americas.
''' BLACK MADONNA AND CHILD'''..So why were you still living like savages until da man came and colonized your black asses?

NO LATINO, NO HISPANO, NO AMERICANO, NI MUCHO MENOS AFRICANO!!--MEXICANO!!!--MEXICA MOVEMENT.ORG (MOVIMIENTO MEXICA)--LIBERACION ATRAVES DE ANAHUAC EDUCACION!!
Not suprised to see that just like in America and many other countries we don't get the respect/credit due. Also, many people just like Americans, don't know and some don't care to seek knowledge on their history/culture. And as long as we are comfortable with being ignorant, don't expect the others(meaning other race) to truthfully educate you.
I think this is excellent and I want to personally thank you for making this video available for the world to see. I think it is beautiful to know the we(meaning of African descent) are everywhere.
Ignorant . From the word ignore. When making comments, make sure you have done your homework. Don't ignore the truth. The truth is out for you to find, if you look.
@1980vince Mexicans are not purely indigenous nor Spanish. History belongs to no one but the masses. It can be shared to educate the world of its vast cultures in which god made. The beautiful thing you have in Mexico is being lost to ideology of superiority which will leave your country stagnant an not a true society. Society in Mexico is like the haves and the have nots and its a large divide out of ignorance.
@1980vince Indian people are not praised in Mexico and are lowest on the countries cast. Mestizo, Indigenious and Afro-Mexican is the order making the Mestizo higher on the hierarchy. The film was a demonstration of bare existence of those of African descent which has been largely under represented as Mexico.
There are many pueblos of afro-mexicans in the central to southern part of mexico, and we must acknowledge them with respect that they have been in the region for centuries brought by the slave ships. I myself researched my surname and found out that a man by the name of gonzalo guerrero touched mexican soil in 1511. After years of slavery he proves himselt to the Maya, marries a princess and has 3 children, the first mestizo-mexicans, the GUERRERO's.
@1980vince Nah... You are just racist.. She is cute and her big African lips are pretty too. Maybe when you learn to love yourself you will stop hating on others.
@1980vince Mestizo people are a small miniority of people on the face of the earth yet hold a superiority complex as indigenous and Spanish blood. They ignore that Afro-Mexican communities that reside in states of Guerrero, Oaxaca, Michoacán, Veracruz, Campeche, Quintana Roo, and the Yucatán.
im from a little town close to cuajinicuilapa and i my grand grandmother is black and she is from there im not black but i love la costa chica de guerrero
@ChicanoTeddyBear602 you cant continue the culture and everything even if you are darkened by the negroids there? The identity is more about the culture, the language, the customs, the food, music etc? What does skin color have to do with that? you can still uphold your cultural ideals and pass them on to your children and have them pass it on, with someone from a different "race"
@ urmbero452 and cyber celebrity. You two brought out some very good points, on the Afro-Latino disparity. I have many friends and associates from all over Latin America and the caribbean of African descent. And they all sing the same sad song when it comes to equality. I've travelled through Central America where my Moms from, and there is definitely a undercurrent of RACISM down there. My point is MOST, of my Mexican friends from Mexico, don't even realize that blks even exist in Mexico.
Because your Mexican friends live in a country with very different racial views than the US, they might just be apathetic. In a country where region and culture play a bigger role than 'race' (most Mexicans are mixed racially), it might be better to use terms like oaxaqueña, jarocho, or costeño instead. That might give them a better idea of whom you are referring to, instead of 'negro', 'black', or 'afro'. Most Mexicans are at least familiar with these demonyms and the people they associated.
dude, 20% of Mexico's Population is WHITE!!! they rarely come into this country. the "Mexicans" you see come into this country are the annoying "spicki Spanish" indian mongoloids. Mexican Media is almost run by White Mexicans and mostly show White Mexicans.
So, the whole notion that Latin America is color blind is absurd, to say the least.
If they don't even include blacks in television shows, it stands to reason that Afro-descended Hispanics face discrimination in the work place, in running for office, and in many other aspects of life. I'm not fooled by the "colorblind" shit.
What's absurd is the entire 'one drop rule' that existed in the US. You'll see millions of Latin Americans with African ancestry, some more than others, but you'll never hear them drawing lines between themselves and their fellow countrymen just for that reason, like in the US.
If you want to believe that, so be it. Just don't try spreading your poison into Latin American society. They have better 'race relations' than the US. Most problems are political and social, but rarely racial.
The fact that Mexico's government is trying to "outlaw" race doesn't mean that people aren't discriminated against on the basis of their ancestry. Even in Mexican pop culture, it's hard to find anyone who looks even remotely non-white. It's funny how people from Latin America go on about how there's no racism in their country, and in the same breath talk about their disdain for "pinche mayate". Truth is, Mexico, like all of Latin America, is far more racist than the U.S.
CyberCelebrity, you are being extremely ignorant. No one in Mexico is discriminated against solely for belonging to a certain 'race', especially considering the notion of 'race' doesn't even exist there. The reason 'blacks', or Afro-Mexicans in Mexico are looked down on is because the vast majority are impoverished. So while I do agree that prejudice does exist in Mexico, it's based on classism and not race.
@77AdHominem I find it laughable when people say that the notion of race doesn't exist in Latin American countries.
Why do people want to ignore the fact that some level of racism does occur in Latin America and that the ones who receive the most racism are indeed the blacks and the more full blooded indigenous peoples?
Some people make it a hobby to hate the USA, but what they say does not hold up to either historical or modern facts.
Regarding the video, I'll just say that I feel very sad for black Mexicans. Virtually ALL Latin American countries are anti-black and it seems as if Afro-Hispanics don't have any type of political power or even enough pride in themselves to discuss, much less attempt to to eradicate, the daily discrimination they endure at the hands of their white and mestizo counterparts. This is why so many people don't know that blacks are present in these countries.
There's no such thing as 'black Mexicans', since Mexico isn't obsessed about racial categorizations like the US. If you mean 'costeños', then yes, man live in poverty but they're content. Discrimination? Mexico has had several influential politicians, entertainers, athletes, and leaders in its history who are well-known and respected. Furthermore, I have several black friends who've visited and faced no problems from the people there. How about try living in Mexico for better insight.
A common misperception is that American blacks are trying to "take credit" for the achievements of Egypt. That is false. Some Afrocentrists do, but they make up a small segment of the population.
If you ever go to Egypt (upper Egypt, where this civilization was formed) you'll find that many of the people there are black.
That doesn't mean they're connected to American blacks in a cultural sense, or that Ancient Egypt was entirely comprised of blacks; However, the evidence suggests...
This is the main point I have. The mexicans that are of indian and African ancestry are outcasts in their country. That's the story of people of african ancestry everywhere. That's the similarities I see. I live in Texas. Unfortunately. I moved here from New York. . What I hate, they are over worked and under paid. Blacks in the U.S are not going to take that. You should form an organization to fight that. It's not right.
That's a lifetime of learning. There are a few guys at my job from cuajinicuilapa. They are very proud of their mexican heritage. I'm a trigueno. What I have from the african ancestry is the way my hair looks. They immediately identified with me. I thought that was a beautiful thing. It almost brought me into to tears. It's all about people having different opinions, but finding something that brings them together. Sometimes that doesn't always happen.
Yes. Well, to be honest Haiti has never recovered economically. The Dominican Republic has the same problem The so called United States has. Well not really. A lot of Haitians come to work in the Dominican. I don't think it's a bad thing. It's all based on race. Haiti will never get back on their feet. Living poor is nothing new to them. Their ae a lot of educated people there, but the Government is very corrupt. You have to remember the country was taken over by slaves, from the french.
True. It has been a real pleasure talking to you. So what are your hobbies? I'm Dominican so I dance Salsa, merengue, bachata,in my spare time. More importantly, I'm glad I have someone to talk to that has passion for a subject.
Ethiopians are the descendants of the Pharoahs. . All africans were not taken from West Africa. It's crazy because a friend of mine done a DNA test. He's clearly black. Most of his ancestors were from Europe. What it all comes down to is The term mexican is a generic name for the people of the country. Some people were forced to go there. Others went there because of persecution. world. No one is cientos por cientos mexicano. Mexicans are mixed with many different things.
Egypt is in Africa. Take a look at a map. Don't complicate it. I think culture is a beautiful thing. I'm not sure what your angry about, but I did Research, because it all goes back to Genesis in the bible. I look at you as my neighbor. Thanks for your input.
Your wrong. You only know one point of view. Africa had a history before the slave trade. Take the time to educate yourself on the subject. I like your tenacity. I'm glad I brought the best out of you. That's what it's all about. I'm a better person having talked to everyone on this subject. Thank you and God bless.
africans were advanced in Math and science. Centuries before christ. Read about kemet and Egypt. Los Africanos didn't have to steal from your culture. They have a wonderful one of their own.
Your not very educated. The mexican elite have studied this subject before you were even born. The masses are not very educated on this subject. Go to these universities and look up the information. You will find it there. I did my thesis ten years ago. I even lived in mexico. interviewed 100's of people from all walks of life. The main point is all of us are related. Whether you like it or not. African people have chinese, arab, french, indian, spanish,Italian, etc in their families as well.
I have a Phd in this. Your the one has mis-information. jblackandmlp is right. Everything is from a Eurocentric point of view. All of my educated white friends even know the real truth about mexico. They have lived in Mexico for the last 60 years studying. All of mexico has the third root. That's african. You don't even understand the X and Y chromosome of how this works.
ALL mexicans? I do agree that a lot of Mexicans have some african blood, but not all of them, for example I know a few Mexicans who are blonde and blue eyed..."mexican" is a nationality not a race...anybody who is born in Mexico is Mexican, even if their family are recent immigrants to Mexico.
Well said. How do you explain blacks being blonde hair and blue eyed? My point is blacks are a part of every race. You don't have to have black feautures like most people think of black. My family is Dominican. We have triguenos, mulatos, wetos, etc in our family. We are family that's what matters to me.
I'm a professor of African history in mexico. The arab influence comes from spain. What you don't know is the arabs in spain were the moors. They were african people. Black people look different in all areas of the world. In this hemisphere if you don't look black your not. Well in other countries you don't have to look black to be considered black. 95 percent of mexicans have african ancestry. Read a book The third root, and La poblacion negra de mexico.
Urmber452, I went up to the 11th grade in Mexico, then I immigrated to the USA and obtained a batchelors degree in Health Science. I'm a well read person. I have continued to travel to Mexico frequentlly neither you nor XM377 are right, at he end of 1880's the black admixture in Mexico was about 55% of the population. Of course we are not just 0.9% as Xm377 claims either. We are prevalent Native American. Ihave seen Mulatta looking mothers in Veracruz with Indian looking children.Same in Chiapas
Very well said. I've seen the same thing. Wouldn't you agree that if a mulatta marries someone other than her race the kids will look different? That's what happened in mexico. Thanks for your comments. You said a mouth full. stay in touch.
The spanish implemented mestizaje as well. They wanted the skin to be lighter. That's what happened. A lot of people in mexico are trigueno, or they are very white. I'm Dominican. My sister married a German. Her kids do not look like her. Some features are there, but not much.
urmbero, the moors were not black...and genetic studies done a couple of years ago in Spain showed that the majority of Spaniards do not have any Moorish blood...go to Morocco today, I doubt you'll find many black people.
Sorry. You don't understand the generic term I'm using as black. Morocco is in Africa. My neighbor is from morocco. In Africa black people look different all over the continent. In areas like morocco they don't even look black. Go there and see for yourself. I'm not from the U.S. I joined the United States military. I've been all over the world. Do some traveling. Your mind will be blown away. Don't take my word for it. Travel, then comment back on your findings.
She did her best translating. Most mexicans are not very educated en the subject of Afro-mexicanos. Gonzalo aguirre beltran wrote a book La poblacion negra en mexico. check it out.
This is true. There is a higher percentage of Mexicans of French descent than Black descent in many regions of the country. However, for some unknown reason this fact has not been recognized yet and most people remain ignorant about it.
you have to realize that the only thing that you know of history comes from a eurocentric mindset. the schools dont teach the truth about anybody's history including there own. do some true research and you will see
please all of you must understand this: the purpose of this video and this investigation is show that in Mexico there is a third root (the african) because many people don,t know that even a lot of people people from Mexico ignore that I,m from Mexico City and I love the black people, of course our blacks from Costa Chica Mex.
to learn and understand our ancestry is essential for every one to realize how common we really are despite being a certain color whether being the majority or minority, superior or inferior and abolish racism because some where down history we were once the same
the point here is to share mankind is so complex we must accept the people we are living with. the only true is that we are all human we should not have racism. the belief that people of different races have different qualities and abilities, and that some races are inherently superior or inferior prejudice or animosity against people who belong to other races.
el punto es compartir este mundo ke es de todos no hay raza superior o inferior esas son solo ideas que nos enferman y perjudican

i am a mexican norteno that looks more like evo morales. lived in both nations. my best friend here is a costeno from guerrero, with a lot of african descent. he is my brother. but we didnt become friends because of looks, our modesty and ideas brought us together. and we simply talk about mexican issues such topics of security and politics there. we are not concerned about our racial percentage. americans must learn more from latinamericans. race and ethnicity is not that important.
Anyway, that is all good for you and your friend. Anyway, that does not happen for everybody and some folks tried to do just that. I know for myself there have been times when racial issues have been brought up and the person doing this has not been me! This has happened when I have been around both North Americans and Immigrants from everywhere. But when these conversations start then it is my fault until I remind people of this mess. Whateva!Tell "them" this stuff ain't serious.
when i have said that to a white american, "Im American" there eyes get wide open. we know what we are inside and i feel around white americans as minority we should always say "Im American" to remind them that weare at the same level that they are. by the way when latinos start talking bad about african americans around me, i put a stop right away.
Um nooo! If minorities feel a need to acknowledge both their ethnic roots and American heritage-that is their choice. Minorities have nothing to prove to white people because there is nothing to prove. Whites are just not that special. They eat, sleep, fart just like the rest of us-and to remind them that we are at the same level they are displays the insecurities of some minority members. BTW, you really do not have to convince "ME" of your black friendly credentials. I don't know you buddy!
i am not trying to convince you. i am just giving you my opinion. if thats how you see the world then be it. latinos see the world differently, and for us, the character of an individual, their success in life as individual is more important than just color.
I am just stating my opinion as well. I am NOT trying to get converts either. Some blacks, I make no effort to speak for the whole community, see the world differently. I understand you got your P.O.V but not everybody sees the world in the integrated unified image that you do either. Neither does everybody judge people as individuals eithr
overall, in almost all countries, history is taught through a nation building process based by nationality and not so much by the ethnicity. A Jamaican will never say, im black ,he'll will just say, im jamaican. a serbian, mexican, brazilian etc will say the same thing. at the end sillyposter, we should be fighting in america to call ourselves simply "Americans." And to do more in this country to judge each other by our character. i think in that category the avarage mexican is way ahead
Not exactly. History is taught through the lens of whoever is the dominant group whereas other ethnicities/marginalized get ignored. Which is why these same folks fight to get their story included. As for folks stating their just their nationality at the expense of identity-not all the time. Indeed some do state both ethnicity and nationality. As for just calling ourselves Americans no. Folk should embrace both their ethnic and national heritage and we should respect differences.
by the way, i learn reading by reading memin pinguin everyday. and although i know is time memin needs a make over to make him more human, we didnt read that comic to make fun of memin. we read it because we fall in love with memin's humanity and character. i brought many comics from mexico last december.
As for you reading Memin, even if you did not read him to make fun of it.The picture does the mockery so the words don't have to. As for his humanity and character, white folks use to say in the U.S. that they like the humanity and character of Amos and Andy.Still did not make these characters non-stereotypical caricatures. Same may very well apply here! Anyway, why you read him is your business!
I bought many comics from mexico last decembers!*Me wiping away crocodiles tears.*
you never answer my question as of why afrocentric people are annoyed when we are proud of our native american root. Which is more than 70%? Why are you so annoyed because we are happy to be indian and native to this hemisphere? I dont deny i am part african. but its like telling you, "forget about your african pride, you are white too, your last names are british so forget your blackness, you are white" and then imagine pestering you with that everysingle day. it is very annoying.

The blacks that were taken as slaves are from the Abrauw or Hebrew scattering of the twelve tribes of Yahsarel. Mainly taken from the area of Songhai Ghana Timbuktu. The are Yahudi or as you say Jews. Again part of the scattering. The twelve tribes of Yahsarel Scattered 70AD They are not lost they are scattered. Scattered throughout the world. You will find them at the bottom of all social structure in any country that they were taken. They are the last the hated the outcast. Niger Coon etc.

The beautiful thing you have in Mexico is being lost to ideology of superiority which will leave your country stagnant an not a true society. Society in Mexico is like the haves and the have nots and its a large divide out of ignorance.

My point is MOST, of my Mexican friends from Mexico, don't even realize that blks even exist in Mexico.
ahmawanllm 1 year ago
Because your Mexican friends live in a country with very different racial views than the US, they might just be apathetic. In a country where region and culture play a bigger role than 'race' (most Mexicans are mixed racially), it might be better to use terms like oaxaqueña, jarocho, or costeño instead. That might give them a better idea of whom you are referring to, instead of 'negro', 'black', or 'afro'. Most Mexicans are at least familiar with these demonyms and the people they associated.
77AdHominem 1 year ago 4
dude, 20% of Mexico's Population is WHITE!!! they rarely come into this country. the "Mexicans" you see come into this country are the annoying "spicki Spanish" indian mongoloids. Mexican Media is almost run by White Mexicans and mostly show White Mexicans.
Superbeast1370 2 years ago
So, the whole notion that Latin America is color blind is absurd, to say the least.
If they don't even include blacks in television shows, it stands to reason that Afro-descended Hispanics face discrimination in the work place, in running for office, and in many other aspects of life. I'm not fooled by the "colorblind" shit.
CyberCelebrity 2 years ago
What's absurd is the entire 'one drop rule' that existed in the US. You'll see millions of Latin Americans with African ancestry, some more than others, but you'll never hear them drawing lines between themselves and their fellow countrymen just for that reason, like in the US.
If you want to believe that, so be it. Just don't try spreading your poison into Latin American society. They have better 'race relations' than the US. Most problems are political and social, but rarely racial.
77AdHominem 1 year ago
The fact that Mexico's government is trying to "outlaw" race doesn't mean that people aren't discriminated against on the basis of their ancestry. Even in Mexican pop culture, it's hard to find anyone who looks even remotely non-white. It's funny how people from Latin America go on about how there's no racism in their country, and in the same breath talk about their disdain for "pinche mayate". Truth is, Mexico, like all of Latin America, is far more racist than the U.S.
CyberCelebrity 2 years ago
CyberCelebrity, you are being extremely ignorant. No one in Mexico is discriminated against solely for belonging to a certain 'race', especially considering the notion of 'race' doesn't even exist there. The reason 'blacks', or Afro-Mexicans in Mexico are looked down on is because the vast majority are impoverished. So while I do agree that prejudice does exist in Mexico, it's based on classism and not race.
77AdHominem 1 year ago 4
@77AdHominem I find it laughable when people say that the notion of race doesn't exist in Latin American countries.
Why do people want to ignore the fact that some level of racism does occur in Latin America and that the ones who receive the most racism are indeed the blacks and the more full blooded indigenous peoples?
Some people make it a hobby to hate the USA, but what they say does not hold up to either historical or modern facts.
MoneysnHoneys 1 year ago
Regarding the video, I'll just say that I feel very sad for black Mexicans. Virtually ALL Latin American countries are anti-black and it seems as if Afro-Hispanics don't have any type of political power or even enough pride in themselves to discuss, much less attempt to to eradicate, the daily discrimination they endure at the hands of their white and mestizo counterparts. This is why so many people don't know that blacks are present in these countries.
CyberCelebrity 2 years ago
There's no such thing as 'black Mexicans', since Mexico isn't obsessed about racial categorizations like the US. If you mean 'costeños', then yes, man live in poverty but they're content. Discrimination? Mexico has had several influential politicians, entertainers, athletes, and leaders in its history who are well-known and respected. Furthermore, I have several black friends who've visited and faced no problems from the people there. How about try living in Mexico for better insight.
77AdHominem 1 year ago 2
A common misperception is that American blacks are trying to "take credit" for the achievements of Egypt. That is false. Some Afrocentrists do, but they make up a small segment of the population.
If you ever go to Egypt (upper Egypt, where this civilization was formed) you'll find that many of the people there are black.
That doesn't mean they're connected to American blacks in a cultural sense, or that Ancient Egypt was entirely comprised of blacks; However, the evidence suggests...
CyberCelebrity 2 years ago
that Egypt was founded by blacks. Their closest neighbors are the Sudanese. And that's who pre-dynastic Egyptians resembled the most.

It's not right.
urmbero452 2 years ago

All of my educated white friends even know the real truth about mexico. urmbero452 2 years ago
ALL mexicans? I do agree that a lot of Mexicans have some african blood, but not all of them, for example I know a few Mexicans who are blonde and blue eyed..."mexican" is a nationality not a race...anybody who is born in Mexico is Mexican, even if their family are recent immigrants to Mexico.
thekingofmoney2000 2 years ago
Well said. How do you explain blacks being blonde hair and blue eyed? My point is blacks are a part of every race. You don't have to have black feautures like most people think of black. My family is Dominican. We have triguenos, mulatos, wetos, etc in our family. We are family that's what matters to me.
urmbero452 2 years ago

Ihave seen Mulatta looking mothers in Veracruz with Indian looking children.Same in Chiapas
teresaguerrasalazar 2 years ago
Very well said. I've seen the same thing. Wouldn't you agree that if a mulatta marries someone other than her race the kids will look different? That's what happened in mexico. Thanks for your comments. You said a mouth full. stay in touch.
urmbero452 2 years ago
The spanish implemented mestizaje as well. They wanted the skin to be lighter. That's what happened. A lot of people in mexico are trigueno, or they are very white. I'm Dominican. My sister married a German. Her kids do not look like her. Some features are there, but not much.
urmbero452 2 years ago
urmbero, the moors were not black...and genetic studies done a couple of years ago in Spain showed that the majority of Spaniards do not have any Moorish blood...go to Morocco today, I doubt you'll find many black people.
thekingofmoney2000 2 years ago 2
Travel, then comment back on your findings.

okomunarritz 2 years ago
Anyway, that is all good for you and your friend. Anyway, that does not happen for everybody and some folks tried to do just that. I know for myself there have been times when racial issues have been brought up and the person doing this has not been me! This has happened when I have been around both North Americans and Immigrants from everywhere. But when these conversations start then it is my fault until I remind people of this mess. Whateva!Tell "them" this stuff ain't serious.
sillyposter 2 years ago
when i have said that to a white american, "Im American" there eyes get wide open. we know what we are inside and i feel around white americans as minority we should always say "Im American" to remind them that weare at the same level that they are. by the way when latinos start talking bad about african americans around me, i put a stop right away.
okomunarritz 2 years ago
I don't know you buddy!
sillyposter 2 years ago 2
i am not trying to convince you. i am just giving you my opinion. if thats how you see the world then be it. latinos see the world differently, and for us, the character of an individual, their success in life as individual is more important than just color.
okomunarritz 2 years ago
I am just stating my opinion as well. I am NOT trying to get converts either. Some blacks, I make no effort to speak for the whole community, see the world differently. I understand you got your P.O.V but not everybody sees the world in the integrated unified image that you do either. Neither does everybody judge people as individuals eithr
sillyposter 2 years ago 2
overall, in almost all countries, history is taught through a nation building process based by nationality and not so much by the ethnicity. A Jamaican will never say, im black ,he'll will just say, im jamaican. a serbian, mexican, brazilian etc will say the same thing. at the end sillyposter, we should be fighting in america to call ourselves simply "Americans." And to do more in this country to judge each other by our character. i think in that category the avarage mexican is way ahead
okomunarritz 2 years ago
Not exactly. History is taught through the lens of whoever is the dominant group whereas other ethnicities/marginalized get ignored. Which is why these same folks fight to get their story included. As for folks stating their just their nationality at the expense of identity-not all the time. Indeed some do state both ethnicity and nationality. As for just calling ourselves Americans no. Folk should embrace both their ethnic and national heritage and we should respect differences.

Same may very well apply here! Anyway, why you read him is your business!

you never answer my question as of why afrocentric people are annoyed when we are proud of our native american root.
