  • Top o' the mornin' to ya, laddies XD Noone actually says that in Ireland y'know that's what makes it even funnier

  • @JeanetteMiller1

naw, the little JIG she tops it off with KILLS me.

  • Oh bloody'ell

  • My name actually is Ross

  • I Think Friends Is AWSOME Who Agrees

  • hahahah monica and jennifer rooock!!

  • @0tgr lol Monica's was Irish and Rachel's was Indian (: they're so funny! :D

  • yes yes bombay is very nice this time of year haha lol

  • 1:18 monica GELERRRR! XD AHHAHAHAAHHAHA

  • For all the people who keep saying that this is scottish accent, blimey you are wrong. I am scottish and it is definetely not how monica is speaking. I believe it is a irish accent or perhaps a bad irish accent (parody).

For the people who state that Scotland is not in Britain, just open you geography books because being such dicks. And there is no "british" accent btw. Thanks

  • some people are just NOT getting it ..gosh chill people !!!! the "punch line" of the whole scene is that none of the accents is good so just enjoy this hilarious masterpiece or just PISS OFF..

  • monica is like a monkey haha...she is soo flexible i mean she loves doing some physical stuff...

  • LOOOOOOOVE RACHELS

  • oh one of the best scenes.

  • thumbs up if you're watching this in 2011!

  • "Oh bloody yell"

  • SO MANY STUPID COMMENTS. Monica's accent is supposed to be Northern Irish, hence 'top o' de mornan tae ya', it's just not very good. It is NOT Scottish, but Scotland IS in Britain, as is Northern Ireland, but the Republic of Ireland isn't.

  • I don't know about you guys, but for me the scene with the Monica and Rachel fake accent is the funniest scene of Friends. I can watch it a zillion times and still pee on my pants with laughter.

  • "Yes yes Bombay is berry berry nice this time of year"

  • hahahaha rachel!!! wtf..

  • monica gellaarrrrrrrrrr

  • i hate british accent...american is the best...american is more understandable and kind of heavy...nice try gelerrrrrrrr....!!!hahaha good and at the same time ridiculous scene.....!!!!

  • hey sisters! wow we really where bitches

  • gelerrrrrrrr

  • what accent does MOnica put on?

  • @sebuniversidad sounds scotish/irish

  • @Edaenah Scottish and Irish sound nothing alike!!

  • @XwintoX i didnt say they sound alike, i'm saying it's either one of them which is why i put a slash~

forgive me if it wasnt clear~

but i'd have to say irish~

  • @Edaenah Listen, I'm from Ireland, so I think I know wat an Irish accent in like, ok...

  • @XwintoX im irish as well o.O

    ur pount?~

  • @Edaenah **point~ ._.

  • @sebuniversidad

    Irish, definitely.

'Cause she says"Top of the morning to ya, laddies" wish is kind of what Irish people say. Like in Yorkshire, they say "Eyupp." And it Scotland, they sometimes say "Wii" (as in small)

  • @TheArianaGFan I'm Irish, and have never heard an Irish person say "Top of the morning to ya, laddies" & Irish don't say laddies.. We say "Your lad" or "The one".......

  • @scarfitiger

Well, sorry for not being an Irish expert or whatever-.-'

  • @scarfitiger

Sorry for not being an Irish expert-.-'

  • @TheArianaGFan Ummm.. it's "wee" not wii !

  • @harrypotterforeveish

man. i'm not from ireland. seriously. i don't know everything about it!

  • FAIL Ross...

  • It sounds like Rach would say Berry Berry nice, but I think, I REALLY think it's very very nice? :D

  • @twilightfan what the hell? "Berry berry nice"? I think it's just very very nice :D

  • yes bombay is berry berry nice this time of the year :p LOL

  • I'm sorry i've got plans with my sister.

  • MONICA GELLERRRRRRRRRR!!!

  • I think some people need to learn some geography and what a scottish accent sound like.. -.-

  • @hesquadraphonic It's scottish accent :) Somebody told me that, I didn't know that before. I was like: "Hey, best brittish accent!" but then somebody told me it's scottish.

  • @TheMaugirl wtf?!?!

  • what accent is rachel doing?

  • @pinklolliepop5 Indian (;

  • @KirstineEibyeElgaard kk thnx :D

  • Lol clearly us Americans don't know anything about England or Ireland

  • @CypheredSoul not too surpising

  • What ever, still funniest scene :D

  • Rachel's one at the end topped it off perfectly.

  • Exactly!!!

  • Since when is Scotland not in Britain??

  • aurolalavigne12 doesn't ross say there something about "brittish accent"?:

    0:57-0:60

  • @TheMaugirl He is doing an English accent and she is doing Irish...

you can tell from "Oh bloody hell" and "Top of the mornin' to ya!"

both of which are located in Britain.

  • @DreamStreet2HPBabe17 irelands not part of britain

  • @plankyspanky Ireland is divided in to two parts one of which belongs to the British Isles...

  • @DreamStreet2HPBabe17

ireland is not part of britain,

  • @tonkz3 No but Northern Ireland is.

  • @tonkz3 northern ireland is though :)

  • "MONICA GELARRR". LoL

  • rachael's accent reminds me of peter sellers' accent from the party:D

  • Omg, I really am laughing so hard that I can't walk, or do anything... Monica's brittish accent.. Oh shit I laughed :DD

  • @TheMaugirl Monica be using a Scottish accent. not British.

  • @RajkumariMaahi

    Scotland is in Britain. :/

  • @BarryMLove umm no it's not

  • @28carrotcake I'm sorry to break it to you but if you genuinely believe Scotland is not in Britain, then you're really not that great with Geography.

  • @BarryMLove It is IN britain but it's not very much involved with britain. And They certainly don't have the same accents. A scottish accent is a scottish accent and a british accent is a british accent so if you think that scottish and british accents are the same then you need to check again.

Besides scotland is politically very much independent

  • @28carrotcake apart from watching the same TV, listening to the same music, speaking the same language, having the same currency, and having identical infrastructure, Scotland has little to do with Britain! LOL

  • @TheMaugirl it's scottish

  • @auroralavigne12 It's actually Irish... very stereotypically Irish, but still Irish.

  • If there were an award for worst British accent, I think Schwimmer would get it.

  • @hesquadraphonic not schwimmer.. geller

  • @20mangu his real last name is schwimmer, retard.

  • @bemus9 I am sure that David Schwimmer can pull off a better British accent whereas Ross GELLER the character will not be !!

  • Rachel is Indian! ROTFFLMAS!

  • " Yes, yes, Bombay is very very nice this time of year.."

  • i think thats the worst fake english/irish ive ever heard

  • I can't believe my sisters didn't find it that funny :/

  • omg i can't stop laughing !

  • send ross to calcutta at once.

  • i wish things like this really happened :)

  • in some weird way , i hate monica ...

  • @MyKutaap what? D:

how can you hate her? some people say that she's not the funnier and stuff, but anyone ever told me that hates her.

  • god ross is funny

  • I'm british but I find Ross' acent funny as hell.

  • monica gallagheeerrrrr

  • Such a bad accent! As much as I love Friends, Ross' accent is worse than the infamous attempt of Dick Van Dyke.

  • @TullerJackson, Hindu is a religion, Hindi is a language

  • @Putturani Actually a Hindu is somebody who practices the religion of Hinduism... and Hindi is, as you correctly said, a language ;).

  • @nizdolls Yes you are right, my bad. :)

  • @Putturani,

I am an Indian - where Hindi is the mother tongue - and I agree with you. :)

  • i dont real sound like that do I

  • loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • LMAO ROSS

    imagine his constination......OH BLOODY HELL

  • It's annoying that people say I love "the" British accent, do Americans etc understand how different the accents are up north?

  • @xiheartzacefron94x Its kind of the same when people say "the American accent" or "the australian accent". you cant expect us to know the difference really. I mean try to distinguish the texan accent from the southern accent or a chicago or socal accent. its the same deal really. If youre not from there its hard to tell.

  • @supermario0192837465 It's not that hard once you've lived there for a while. Phonetically, a Liverpool, Yorkshire and Cockney accent are more different from each other than a Texan and a Southern accent. (A Chicago and a southern accent are very distinct.) Scottish accents are a different matter because an entirely different linguistic group plays into that as well, so it is inaccurate to say "the British accent". You might get away with "the English accent", but that's a stretch.

  • Comment removed

  • @Chocolateluvr1987 I know its possible to tell the differance, I could tell the differance between my two english friends for instance. Im just saying that that person cant say its an american thing to do that when our accents and Australian accents are generalized. And Its hard to know all the names of the accents.

PS. and for the last time, trust me, thats a scottish attempt. and the last one with the phone was irish

  • @supermario0192837465 Yes, I got the Irish attempt, but the Scottish attempt was barely recognisable. It was a really bad attempt. She should take lessons from Hugh Laurie at faking accents. :D

I know what they were "supposed to be".

  • @Chocolateluvr1987 Top of the mornin to yah is a stereotype that was popularized by american cinema, monica's accent was horrible hence why its funny. I mean, I know how they should sound also because of experience, but I also can distinguish those stereotypes. no disrespect though, Im just saying. Yeah Hugh laurie is the exception to the rule, as is Johhny Depp( Jack sparrow for example). But in a sitcom, It just makes it funnier when its bad. ;)

  • @supermario0192837465 ...as long as it's bad and still a bit close, close enough to make it funny. :) I guess I didn't know the stereotype, which is why I didn't get it. I can see how it would be funnier if you know it. And you're right, Johnny Depp is awesome!

  • LMDAO XD

  • ross is old london english monica irish and rachel indian
