The thing is that the Synch is at ~180% here and it's showing such power, but in the original, the Synch was 400% and all it did was act beasty, so it goes to show that Shinji is providing the access to that power by himself.

The higher you sync the further into the plug you go until you reach the Eva's core and get sucked into it. I think this is probably the only part of the film in which i actually liked the original version more.too many lights in this one.

However, it does seem that Shinji has more control in this one than in the other.

@fireblademaster100 thats a load of horse penis and you know it, the rebuild series is best used as a supplementary a true eva fan would know this. the rebuilds have amazing visuals and action HOWEVER thats not what made the original series exceptional, its the human struggles.

@Yukikoua To be fair, Shinji did have some pretty badass moments in the series. Like when he kills Shamshel despite being seconds away from losing all power. Okay, the kid's browning his trousers while he does it, but he stands his ground against an Angel despite everyone telling him to run away.
