If you're going to run on carpet, you really need to glue the stock ones yourself before racing - I made the mistake of assuming that the factory-glued tyres were glued on properly; they're not, and they only lasted about 7 minutes before coming off! The tyres it comes with are quite soft, so good grip but they don't last that long - some hard foams are apparently the way to go, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
i recently purchased one of these on ebay for 80 u.s. dollars. I am extrmemly impressed by how quick this thing is stock out of the box. Of course, new motor and battery doesn't hurt either... oh, btw, great job, a well made3 video!

I've sent a link as to the unboxing of the M14 chassis from Carisma. Thought it would be nice to compare both models. The M14 being the entry level and the GT14 the next step. Both 1/14 scale.
It's not a rip-off of a Mercedes SLR McLaren, it IS a Mercedes SLR McLaren (it's a licensed shell)! Carisma is the brand. But yes, that is a rather unfortunate name for a company hoping to depict itself as exciting and fun...

@dropdeadcoby Certain types of YouTube user account can upload videos longer than 10 minutes. Normal users, like me, have a 10-min limit.

But it's clearly a rip-off of a Mercedes SLR, so why is it named after a naff Mitsubishi from the 90s?
