I read the book and cried for 10 minutes, now I watch this and I am crying even more. This book is truly sad

Ive read the book millions of times.(clearly exaggeration) matt knew kate while with suzanne but he never cheated. Suzanne and nicholas passed and then after a while dated kate. Atleast thats how i saw it since his book was published by kat while with suzanne. The book is hauntingly beautiful

@yami0601 Just to clarify, Matt did not cheat on Suzanne. At the end of the book Katie figures out that the night he left her was the 2 year anniversary of Suzanne and Nicholas' death, and Katie and Matt had been together only 11 months.

Actually, in the book Suzanne and Nicholas were too dead when Matt started seeing Kate.

They changed it so he would not cheat on his wife. In the book he was with Kate while Suzanne was still alive.
