Saw him a few hours in Sydney. Best gig ever, loudest ever, hands down ...and I've been to a few. Tossers need to stop whingeing how he's this now and not that and what not. What is he supposed to be doing? 30 years of The Jam? The man is older, changed, evolved...it happens in all professions. He is indeed still a force.

@LongTallNowhereGirl you are so right, I have been a long time fan of his all the way back from the early Jam days...what he is doing now is going back to the musical style which influenced him as a child and he is doing it very, very well in my opinion, the jam was the jam, the style council was the style council and what we have seen for quite a number of years now is the Man Paul Weller doing what he wants to do and I personally am thankful for him doing it because it is absolutely brilliant.

@Modster67 hes 53 years old- you want him to put on his old jam gear and flail a ricky round shouting about class warfare - some people cant move on i guess- i found the new album challenging- overall a good record for an old married guy with kids- much better than some of the socalled up and coming bands- if you want attitude listen to the jam or the clash or tell the kids to get it going!- the new album was in no way commercial- this is about the only radio friendly song!

I have grown to like the new CD,and this song stands out.However,where oh where is the full frontal guitar that should grace some of these songs.I like that Foxton is on a couple tracks but Weller's guitar seems to be just in the mix.Plus no acoustic stuff,Give me the first 4 Weller solo CDs and chuck the rest.
