Most conservatives are really liberal, especially if they are honest and educated.

Education is kryptonite to a conservative. I'm not trying to be mean. Just honest. In fact, from what I've seen many of the conservatives I meet may be socially conservative but they agree with the Democratic platform completely. And most hate corrupt politicians and Republicans give lip service to honesty, so that may be why they lean that way.

being conservative myself, i find that the biggest flaw of conservatives is they tend to loose their temper. Liberals i find to more disciplined debaters, Bill does not listen, even though i May agree with some of his views, he does not have any self control, it makes it difficult to respect any one who debates that resorts to aggressive temper tantrums, and cheap uncontrolled insults. The loudest person usually is the one with the least amount of supporting evidence (compensation)

I'm saying the coverage leading up to it and since it totally different. I can feel stronger that the Spears case is bad because overall I see a lot of bad press even before the news came up.

If it was in my family, for example, if I had a family member that was never known for getting into trouble then became pregnant I would see it as a mistake and and something you work out. However if in that family the other siblings were getting into trouble, I would see her pregancy as a overall theme

I think anyone would agree that there is a huge difference in Spears and Palin situations leading up to the news of pregnancy. Maybe I'm not aware of it, but I don't think there was a sister in the media with mental, alcohol and drug abuse issues that was having children in questionable situations under less than ideal care.
