unless you go to a school then you have to bloody reboot to get u3 to allow you to access your files great if you are doing some work and need to save it oh no you have to reboot to save the work you spent 1 hour on

i dont really think u3 is a bad program on the contrary it's a pretty handy app. and although you can go and download other software like portableapps, geekmenu, and codysafe which some might agree are better those apps dont allow you to install big programs commercial programs like mcafee or norton, you are only limited to opensource free software like gimp and open office thats why u3 is cool you can carry commercial programs on it.

U3 is a waste of money. I mean, I plugged it into my PC. It spent about 5 mins with the Autoplay scan box continually popping up before doing nothing. And oh well. It's got an app launcher. Just get PortableApps launcher...

the portable apps launcher is alright but the best launcher is the codysafe laucher just google it, it's amazing it kind of looks like the windows vista start menu with the glass transparency and it has a lot of options and it can detect if a virus wants to go into your flashdrive and it has a built in disk scaner to scan your drive for errors and stuff.

i dont like u3 because it always pops out and you have to eject it from the eject button and on codysafe you can just yank it out and there.

U3 didnt work well with my school's computers. it took forever to access the files on my flash. and when you have AP class with school papers and projects you dont really have time to wait. U3 didnt make things convenient. i liked U3 but it didnt work well with me so i had to take it off. now i just plug save go i dont have to wait anymore. overall i think its a good idea, but i dont think it fits well if u have to access files fast for a presentation on a computer w/o u3 previously installed on

hack it, its brilliant. download Universal Customiser & Magic ISO. Create a batch file to run a program. Use MagicISO to create a ISO of the batch. Use the Universal Custumiser (read the read me file with it) to attach this ISO to your U3 drive. And you have a drive that can run any program by just putting it in a PC :] iv had alot of fun today!

If you right-click on the 'U3' icon in the task bar the 'U3' tool box should open in the right hand corner of the tool bok you should see 'Remove U3 applications'.
