Those pulse cannons were definitely the wrong weapon to outfit this ship with for the mission of exploration it was designed for. The phase cannon was better suited but I wouldn't have completely removed the pulse cannons. They would have proved to be a decent backup if the other weapons were offline. They were only used once.

Not bad, not bad at all. What an excellent song written years ago and the visuals - well NX01 - it's just the Cadillac of the skies. It was perfect as a prequel... To Star Trek? And I've got a flip up phone now.... I don't hold it infront of my face and shout commands but I like Galaxy Quest too.
